I think I’m going to stop following people first. I want to be mutuals who I can tell with fair certainty actually want to write with me vs. a possible follow for follow scenario.

Imagine how frustrating it would be to be Madame Morrible- carefully cultivating the talent of the friendless loner, establishing yourself as her only friend and ally, knowing that her having to room with the Queen Bee will surely aid in making her yet more isolated and lonely and then you take your eyes off them for two minutes and they're in love and you know with a sinking heart that you're going to have to put up with this pink puffball if you want any chance of using this girl for your evil deeds.

But it's ok, because the Wizard will just invite the one he wants to the city, right?

And then you get a slightly concerned phonecall: 'Morrible, she brought her girlfriend with her.'

'Ugh. Can you send her away?'

'....Probably not, they're ecstatically dancing round the city arm in arm and picking soft furnishings for their future marital home as we speak.'
