I didn’t say the mods weren’t unprofessional lmao, and I did read the screenshots. I’m saying it’s cherry-picked bc where’s the screenshot of them giving the initial brief? And as for lying, p sure that’s when gutter said they only spoke to their partner irl instead of the full mod team? The lie being that they didn’t talk to the full mod team? And once again, I DO feel bad for the artists! This was terribly mismanaged and horribly executed, but this doesn’t mean gutter & co did so maliciously?

And once again, what was the point of the call out? It’s not for the benefit of artists, bc again I can see this being an issue going forward. “Oh you’re a GA for Unbleeders? Yeah sorry we don’t like that so we won’t work with you” If you can genuinely say that that won’t happen… well, I’m glad you’re so optimistic.

But yeah, I again would say that this is wildly overblown now, also by you anon. No one has specifically pulled the disabled, etc. card but I read it as rather a “hey we understand your struggle bc we have our own too” bc the artists in question brought their personal situation up. Of course, you can go ahead and read every little negative thing into what mods say, but cmon man, do you REALLY think this was a deliberate, malicious thing they did, and not just plain stupidity/incompetence?

I think you're confused about AB period. Because it makes sense for a huge batch to have an AB preclaim period, turn it off, do rolls, and THEN open AB's back up after everyone has rolled. They didn't communicate that they just turned it off completely without telling the artists shit so obviously they were confused lul? You're gonna believe the word of mouth by the mods who admitted to lying and are trying to cover their asses by claiming scs were cheerypicked when they weren't and showed everything. And mods who hide behind the, I'm mentally ill and Trans and disabled! Card? Dude no way me too! Everyone in your cs too! That's not a valid excuse to be shitty lol! See now THATS unprofessional as hell lol

This “drama” is so over the top. The artists went public with the issue not even 48h after, not giving any time for them to come to a proper resolution. The UB staff was stupid as hell re: the adopt batch, and rude as hell in mod chats BUT you can’t accuse them of unprofessional conduct if your response is a callout post. Like damn yall, it’s been three years without huge issues so you have no patience for staff to figure out the best way forward?

What was the point of the “service review” call out post? Get Ub staff to treat their artists better? But now people will look down on any further GAs for being “associated” with UBs, so yeah you’ve also now tanked future artists’ opportunities at UB. Was it to placate your own anger? Valid, but again, you can’t accuse UB staff of unprofessionalism then.

And UB staff: what on EARTH were you thinking talking about your own community members like that. It’s one thing to be upset and to take a moment to breathe (yeah everyone is human) but not to continue and to shit talk someone who’s been part of your community for a while. How would you feel if people talked about you that way??

And GAs, why does staff say that they DID inform everyone about the AB time period, while you say they didn’t? What did the initial brief look like? It’s an unfortunate fact that being in a gacha batch, not all of them will sell, and normally people are informed of the roll price beforehand. I’ve been in much smaller species and that’s something that’s usually communicated, so artists know what they’re getting into.

Doing an AB period of an hour is wild, but it’s not uncommon to halt ABs after a set time either. I’d be pissed if I started rolling, only for someone to snipe it out from under me - if I roll X and someone ABs it like 1 minute later, who gets it? Would the artist be angry about having to go with the lower $ for the person who rolled it first? Would I have to give it up, just bc I wasn’t able to AB?

I feel for the artists who need the money, but ultimately this should have been handled privately, with UB staff then making a public apology and making a statement about how things will be handled going forward.
