Enchanting Illustrations Inspired by Children’s Books by Nidhi Chanani
Kolkata native Nidhi Chanani (previously featured here) is a freelance California-based illustrator who aims to capture the beauty in the significant but overlooked warm moments in life. When Chanani decided to pursue her career in art, her main motive was to make people happy. Her purpose is to capture the tender moments in between the rush and rhythm of daily life, such as a simple morning hug, sharing a light night snack, and friendship between the magical world of a child’s imagination.
Dreamy and colorful, Chanani’s work depicts the art of love in the micro moments, which inevitably become habits of living. Told in a series of caricatures and surreal scenes, the artist portrays the magic of a still moment and growing up, from a tender hug between a mother and her child and childhood aspirations. You can find her work in her Etsy shop.

I know you’re tired, I know you’re a little self conscious but…take a deep breath, close your eyes & know that you’re going to kill it.
Evan Taubenfeld (via psych-facts)
Not having enough time" and “having little time left” mean two different things and give different feelings. If you feel like you don’t have enough time, you will rush; you will hurry; you will try to get as many things done at once. But if you feel like you have little time left, you will do the most important thing first; you won’t procrastinate; you won’t postpone. But most importantly, you will do one thing at a time.
