HELLO I’M ALIVE but i come bearing bad news. unfortunately after being here for a year i just.. don’t feel happy or comfortable in the indie community and i haven’t for awhile. it’s started to feel like a chore being here sometimes. plus, i’m getting my life and health together after neglecting myself FOR YEARS so, i’m sorry to say i’m going to be leaving my blogs and who knows, i might come back, i might not. 

but i won’t be gone from tumblr completely, i have a writing blog @butterscotchqueenwrites and anyone is free to follow me. my sk.ype is [email protected]. i’ll most likely stay signed in to here on my phone and my ims will be open.

i do cherish the friends i’ve made on here and i hope we can keep in touch. i also hope you understand my choice. love y’all.

HELLO FRIENDS. i know i haven’t been around much and here’s the deal. i’ve been doing a lot of running around this week and my mood has been shifting making me want to be on my laptop less and less. this just happens sometimes bc i gotta recharge mentally. but on top of that, it looks like ya girl is about to get a job which means less time to be around and be active. i know my blogs are already slow reply/low activity but i don’t think i’m going to have the desire to run multiple blogs. so with the exception of reggie and vanellope i’m 99% sure i’m going to make a multi again to stick my other muses on. I KNOW I SUCK AT MULTIS MORE THAN SINGLE MUSE BLOGS but i gotta if i wanna keep writing them. i hope everyone understands and when that’s done, i’ll post a link/promo/etc. i know i’m annoying as hell about blogs and i sincerely apologize, shit happens yknow? anyways, i don’t know how much i’ll be around this weekend but catch me on sk.ype and in my IMs. love y’all.

             Midge was a girl of few emotions other than happiness, but now              she sat with Reggie on the tailgate of the old truck her father gave              her on her 16th birthday. Her dark eyes looked out over Sweetwater              River, eyes showing something deep and sad. “I can’t believe him,               Reg. I can’t believe he participated in that. I can’t believe YOU did              it, either.” Her voice was so quiet as she gripped the old-fashioned               glass bottle of Coke. “I can’t believe he rated me like that.”

he hadn’t seen any harm in the playbook. he thought it was fun. but now, sitting with midge and seeing how HURT she was, he realized it was wrong. if there was a way to take it back, he would have but it was too late for that. the least he could do was be there for her. “ it was stupid. ” and that’s all he can say to defend himself because he knows he fucked up by participating. “ moose is an ass, he doesn’t deserve you. ” he says looking over at her and it was the truth. he didn't understand what midge saw in him and he never would. she was too good for him and always would be.

“ so, new girl huh? ” reggie asks as he siddles up next to the brunette in the hall. he’d heard about her through out all of first period. he hadn’t paid much attention until he saw her himself. that his interest was piqued. there was no denying she was BEAUTIFUL and beautiful girls were exactly what reggie liked. the moment their eyes met he knew he had to have her and what reggie wanted, reggie got. “ reggie mantle. ” he says, taking it upon himself to introduce himself. sure, he wanted to get to know her but he also wanted to get to her before any of the other guys did --- especially archie.  ( @dirtrepellent gets a starter i’ve owed her for ages. )

breaks had always been good for reggie. trips out of riverdale and away from the constant reminder of the things he couldn’t have or seeing how much people genuinely didn’t care was refreshing. of course it meant trips with his parents but much like they did back home, they paid him no mind. he was free to do whatever he pleased. even if it was a LONELY existence, it was better to be alone in a different place instead of alone in riverdale. returning home from winter break to go back to school hadn’t put him in the best of moods but seeing midge immediately made him perk up. “ switzerland, actually. vicky really wanted to hit the slopes. ” he says, not bothering to call his mother by anything but her name. “ but you sure are a sight for SORE eyes, midge. ”
