was recently possessed by the urge to draw ponies again. This time a serious blast from the past. When I was a kid I wrote a several page long fix-it fanfic based around giving King Sombra a redemption arc through him getting a morally questionable girlfriend. One of those "You're such a disaster that I have to step up and be the sane one here" kinda things. Her name was Violet Storm and I thought I was SO CLEVER cause Violet sounds like Violent and it was such good foreshadowing.

Anyway, revisiting that old idea I thought about all these infection aus that were going around and thought wouldn't it be funny to make like... a legit elements of evil mane six? I know that basically happened in canon once but what if it was actually something more complicated that benefited Equestria despite also causing problems? Idk idk anyways in my Sombra redemption au he'd maybe be the reverse twilight? Violet still has to show up and get him out of his depression and show him the meaning of love. Solo Star is grossed out by this and just wants Sombra to be the big bad again since she was a nightmare moon worshipper before that fell apart.
