Meeting a friend at the airport and I need people to have more anxiety over missing flights

I haaaattttteeee when people go “the average price of books in Canada is $15!!” and their source for that is 1) Amazon and 2) a fucking wholesale reselling site. No. That’s the average price for places that can sell books at a loss. The average paperback in Canada is OVER $25. That number has been creeping up my whole life. I am being priced out of my passion, so yeah, I’m going to correct you because that’s wrong. You’re wrong. It might be the average YOU specifically pay. But all of Canada? No.
