Lol I was that asshole Atlas' friend for almost 3(?) years??? The entire time he was constantly using me for my money and cosplay, using bribery and fear tactics to keep me close to them and were emotionally abusive as fuck. He would steal things constantly and give them to other people as bribes and told me if i didn't give them money to help them transition that i was a transphobic asshole.

Any caps of anything he said anon? It can only help warn others about his behavior. Its really terrible Atlas has been doing this kind of thing, emotionally manipulating people for money is just so gross.

On the topic of Atlas.... I'm really close to someone Atlas hates and one time he revealed my birth name and gender on tumblr (I'm trans) because he was trying to get back at them or something. I legit logged in and i was on a master-list of people that he was outing and deadnaming and sending people after even though I had never even spoken to him.

This is the kind of thing that gets me, people were on me for outing deadname of people like this, but more often than not, the people im outing tend to do the same for more sinister reasonsIm sorry that happened to you anon

I didn't know anything about Desmond until this morning when I saw a call-out post. I'm really disappointed and betrayed, tbh, but to find out he isn't even 18 skeeves me out SO badly, because I'm 23. At a con the year before last (2014) Desmond had a sexual encounter with me and another person who was over 18. I am so uncomfortable to find this stuff out and I feel dirty almost. It's so gross.

I can understand you feeling gross anon, it IS gross, somone lied to you for sexual favors, thats a huge deal. Betraying someone’s trust during an intimate encounter just isnt okay and Im so so sorry it happened to you. All I can say to people is to ask whoever your seeing privately’s license/IDThey may think its funny or weird or unnecessary, but it actually can help multiple ways 1. You can confirm someone’s age2. You can get their legal name. And if they dont have it on them, dont take them on privately, it may suck, they may be nice and really into you, but if you dont know them well enough to know their age or name, it isnt worth the risk.

The second one is important because if something bad goes down, something other than them lying about age, especially something physical. You have their legal name and it may help you report them to authority. Stay safe at cons this year guys.

I believe it was directed at a local cosplay group but because no names were used, theres no way to prove it, but given Atlas’ track record of threats against people and things of that nature, its not surprising.

Even if it isnt atlas specifically, one of their friends or even someone else, this is not okay to do, I’ll put it under Atlas’ tag for now until more info is available

i saw that you have adalrik/adrian on your beware list, but you don't have any of his sites down. his tumblr is prince-adalrik, instagrams are kuroikarasucosplay and _kuroi_karasu_, and he's currently underage and in a sexually active relationship with someone over the age of consent(they're living together). just thought you might want to update.

Because thats very fishy, and very not legal if true, Im not even sure that it can happen even with parental consent unless they 1. disowned him off the books 2. allowed him off the books 3. gave custody over to poul. Idk if anyone has updated you yet, but Desmond/Monty/Julian ’s mother has been notified of the recent scams and other doings of their child. Unfortunately, in my texts above I  had to use legal names, and I have no way of blocking it out. If at all possible, could you keep me on anon if you end up posting this? Thanks. I plan on further explaining this ordeal to their mother later, so that hopefully she can get begin to help fix the problems.

I can only hope this will help resolve the issue, I like that you suggested counseling, good on you anon. I hope desmond gets the help they need and finds it in them to change. Hey there. I was once friends with Monty a while back, but blocked them because of incredibly hateful things they were saying on their facebook. I never knew they scammed artists, apart from them lying about their age to me and sending me nudes. (I'm 21 btw so I could've gotten in deep shit for that.) They also claimed to be autistic, in which I found out from their ex they lied about that too. So yeah, Monty's pretty shitty. Watch out for them and stay safe, guys.

I would ask for some caps of them lying to you about their age specifically (if it was over a chat service) just for more examples of them doing it so people know what to expect, but I also realize this was probably some time ago and you may not have the conversation saved considering the subject matter and personal safety. I hope you found out about the age stuff before anything could happen more than nudes. Im so sorry you had to deal with that anon, Desmond/monty lying about their age is just so dangerous for people they use (as you said, deep shit indeed) and them, and honestly they are lucky you weren't willing to use them after finding out about their age.. Blocking them was the right thing to do.Actually their pretty lucky they havent run into a predator who would use them for this yet in general.. at least I hope no one they know is using them for these kinds of things.
