“I need you to blow me” Dan said instantly “absolutely not, no fucking way” he added “40% of this company’s revenue comes from the construction side and you aren’t about to cut my people’s pay to make it seem like you’re doing something”

“Well first of all, someone’s mom told me I was the better looking brother so I think it’s important for you to know that.” he said as he handed a paper bag to Dan, “italian meat grinder, extra deli mustard.”
“Of course they’re going to call you the better looking one, not like they’ll ever call you the smartest” Dan shot back and looked at the bag before taking it “My favorite sandwich? You must really want something important. What is it?”

Franklin laughed, “oh come on Daniel, get off your high horse and come down here. You know that everyone knows you’re a rich trustfund baby anyways, no need to keep that act going.”
Dan grit his teeth and pulled out his walkie-talkie to inform his foreman that he was taking his lunch. Getting off the lift he unstrapped his harness “Never say I didn’t call you the biggest pain in my ass” he told his younger brother “Come on” he instructed and started to walk off the site “Whatever you gotta say it better be good”

“I’m great with manual labor, ask your ex.” Franklin said as he looked up at his brother, “I thought maybe we could grab lunch and talk about all the money youe burning.”
“Don’t make me drop scaffolding on you” Dan said “and as you can see I’m done here so how about you go back to that ivory tower and once I’m done I’ll come get you”

“What the hell are you even doing here Frankie” Dan asked from atop the lift “You don’t know the first thing about manual labor and you sure as hell aren’t about to start throwing orders around like you do”

Danny rolled his eyes playfully. “We’re not going to my house, but that’s me.” he pointed at the fancy sports car, “come on, barbie let’s go barbie.” he walked over to his car, dumping the beer in the back seat before climbing in the front seat.”
“Good, I’m in the mood for some music” Peyton replied and hopped in the passenger seat. Looking at Danny he laughed “I think you mean party” he told him “You wouldn’t judge me for getting an early start, would you?” he asked and opened one of the beers to take a drink.

Danny raised a brow, “I’m sorry, where was the part that I invited you over? I think I missed that one.” He said as he reached out to grab a couple of chips. “How do I know you’re not going to make me regret this?”
“Once you mentioned drinking alone on a Friday night” Peyton said “I can allow a lot of things, but that’s far too sad to not do something about” Turning to face the other he smiled “You don’t, but something tells me you’re the kinda guy who likes to find out himself” He looked around “So, which car is yours?”

“No you cannot.” Danny teased, “besides, who said anything about a party? Maybe this is just my normal Friday night at home.”
“Fair enough” Peyton chuckled as he made his way out “Inviting strangers back to your place? You really like rolling the dice, huh?” He opened a bag of chips and ate a few before handing them to Danny.
“But if you’re up for some company I’m happy to offer my assistance”

“As they should.” He reached out for his own wallet, showing his ID, “I’m a law abiding citizen, I have no problem carding me. Why? You think I look young?”
“My mistake” Peyton chuckled “you do have a very upstanding face, I should have known” At the question he thought for a minute “You got a babyface, but that’s a good thing you’ll probably age really well” Grabbing a 40 for himself he handed it to Danny “I’ll pay you back when we get outside, but I don’t have my id on me”

“You know you gotta pay for those?” Danny said as he carried a six pack of beer and a bottle of wine, “I think they only do charities on tuesdays.”
“Damn, I must have gotten my days mixed up again” Peyton joked and ate another chip “Kidding, I’m not a delinquent, at least not right now” He pulled out his wallet to show the guy before gesturing to the alcohol he was holding “Speaking of delinquents you know they probably card here, right?”
New in Town
Peyton made his way into the convenience store and started to scan the aisles for the chips he had been craving for most of the day. The edibles he ate an hour ago made the desire for them that much stronger and finally seeing them he smiled “Score!” he said to himself and grabbed three bags, opening up one and digging in.

“I wouldn’t worry about Danny, he has other prey on his horizon.” He said before shrugging, “well, only one way to find out, huh? see you late, Morrison.”
“I pity whoever they are” Morrison said as he stepped out and looked back at George for a moment “Okay” he smiled softly and made his way inside and ordering a drink. Hearing his phone buzz he looked at the message.

Quickly turning it off he removed his sim card and dumped it in glass of water.

“Well yeah, he has plenty of reason to be worried, just not sure why that should be your responsibility. Can’t imagine you really have much power over him.” he ignored the last bit, “okay we’re here, you can head in while I find parking.”
“My dad just wants to think that he’s done something” Morrison said “but I do know keeping that Danny Dimaggio asshole away from him is my first step” He looked at the club “You’re not just saying that, are you? I step out and you go home?” he joked, only half-serious before stepping out and looking back at George before walking inside.

“Yeah, you should know better.” He said as he began to drive off, “why areyou back anyway? I thought you said you’d never come back.”
Morrison paused for a moment before looking ahead “Roger” he said “my dad is worried about him and instead of interrupting his schedule he decided it’s best I move back” He looked at George “But for the record I never said I’d never come back, just that I only had a couple reasons to ever come back”

George blinked slowly, “I’m not going to any club, can’t you afford your own ride?” he said annoyed, “also, what are you talking about? I’m not dating anyone and that’s none of your business.”
“I could, but why wait in this traffic when you’re already here?” he smiled as he heard the annoyance in George’s voice “Roger said something about you two hooking up a few weeks back, but I guess I should have known better. You’re not the hooking up kind”

“Well could be happier but I guess I have to just take the wins where I can.” He said as he looked at Morrison, “but you’re literally in the middle of the road so either you’re going to move or I’m going to run you over.”
“There’s the dower George I know” Morrison said and rolled his eyes before walking around the car and getting into the passenger seat “Figured you’re heading to the club so thanks for the lift” Buckling up he sat back “I hear congratulations are in order. You and Roberto are dating”

Morrison narrowed his eyes and looked into the car, scoffing when he recognized the driver “George” he said “it’s good to see you again too. Happy as ever I see”
