Another update, this time with UnderLust Mettaton. He’s a staff member whose primary goal is to boost the overall moral of the facility. His programs may be not be as emotionally driven as Cooking with a Killer Robot or Undertale: The Musical, but at least his shows are suitable for all ages. Next Patient File is on UnderSwap Paryrus. Don’t let his calm laid back demeanor fool you, he is a sadistic bastard! Well, this particular UnderSwap Papyrus anyway. The UJCF monitoring systems alerted staff of US Sans being out of bounds and needed to bring in US Papyrus for questioning. During the interview, US Papyrus behaved normally as an US Papyrus should. However, as a test, his brother was brought into the same room and US Papyrus was unable to keep up with the facade and started to reply to the interviewer’s questions with disturbing answers. Very disturbing answers. Also, he’s only allowed to smoke in his cell and in designated smoking areas.

Let’s get in depth with the healing abilities of Zoriel. Hopefully my hand writing is readable, it’s a lot of information here. I like to mention that while Calm Mind helps when needed, it doesn’t make the mental/psycological issue go away. It’s used as a temporary solution to allow the patient to even function depending on the situation. For example, one of UnderSwap San’s major crippling FAULT is that he has anthropophobia. While Sans is most comfortable around Zoriel, he still panics and cries during his routine exams. Zoriel uses Calm Mind so it’s easier to deal with him when he gets like that. To get into more deal on Soul Heal, she is able to perform it without actually touching the SOUL. To knock patient out, contact must be made however. (and yes, I forgot to draw the gold band around the top of her dress for the uniform)

UnderJail!Toriel, or Zoriel as she is named in the AU. She is the Head Healer/Nurse of the facility and tries her best to make the patient’s visit to her clinic as comfortable as possible. While the patients each have their regular scheduled health evaluations with her, most of the time patients end up in her clinic due to Dr, Gaster’s tests or “treatments”.

Dr. Gaster is a scientist rather than a healer, and often his techniques focus more on the possible outcome instead of whether or not the patient can handle it. Zoriel and Gaster, while they tolerate eachother in the work setting, they don’t exactly drink tea and talk about the weather.

She takes an interest in the human healing technique called Fire Therapy. Unfortunately she rarely gets to try it due to most patients being uncomfortable with being set on fire. To counter this set back, she also studies human medicine and creates new medication that will have better effects on Monster SOULs.

Her assistant is Storyshift Papyrus, whom she gets along well. Too bad SS!Papyrus gets annoyed with her more than occasional puns. UnderJail Toriel (Zoriel) belongs to @segamew

Here’s the reveal of our first patient in UnderJail Correctional Facility: Underswap Sans!

The patients of UJCF are there because for whatever reason, their behavior is outside acceptable bounds according to the Fan Canon Database (FCD). Underswap Sans is one of the more extreme cases of deviation. The staff at UJCF came to the conclusion that US Sans got this way due to one timeline where his brother decides that he’s bored of being the good brother and uses US Sans as a play thing. US Papyrus is also a patient in UJCF due to becoming out of bounds with his recent behavior. US San’s normally blue eyes were turned purple due to regular dosages of the red colored DETERMINATION (DT) over the span of months. He can’t fight long battles because the amount of DT in him drives him nuts and is unable to cope with its effects (it’s similar to losing yourself as an amalgamate). Here is GenoSan in my UnderJail AU. He’s one of the correctional officers at the facility and pretty decent at his job.

His efficiency however decreases if he doesn’t take his pain medication for his kill injury. Ohohoho. Poor baby can’t catch a break in any AU. GenoSans belongs to @loverofpiggies

SOUL Subjugation Band (SSB) - The inventor is Dr. Zalphys. She was inspired while reading comic books. - All patients have this attached to their SOULs upon being registered into the UnderJail Correctional Facility Systems. - This magic restriction system is in place so that patients don't harm others or themselves. This restriction only affects the casting of most magic. It doesn't affect the composition of the patient (so Grillby with an SSB would not look like a walking match with no fire). - The main UJCF staff member that is tasked to do this is Zoriel, but Zans, Dr. Gaster, and Zalphys can do it as well. Zoriel is selected primarily due to her ability to calm patients during the proceedure (it’s very invasive and most patients aren’t exactly willing to have their magic restricted). - The default setting is LV. 3 - BLUE. It can be set lower or higher depending on the patient's behavior. Good behavior can earn LV.1 - WHITE. - LV. 5 - BLACK is not part of the original programming of the SSB. It was added in after Dr. Gaster was hired. Due to this, only Dr. Gaster can change the SSB's LV into and out of BLACK. His official reason for wanting the additional BLACK LV. is that you can't simply slap the wrists of certain patients for being non compliant. - The amount of damage the patient receives from this level depends on the level of malicious intent. It's a lot if there's a lot of malicious intent, and a little if it's not. Due to this, it is impossible for the patient to heal themselves while their SSB is LV. BLACK. There is a fail safe installed by Dr. Zalphys at the request of Zoriel that if the patient tries to use so much magic to the point of nearly Falling Down, the SSB will switch back to LV. VIOLET without any input from Dr. Gaster. It also can't be changed back to BLACK until the patient is properly taken care of. - Zoriel believes LV. BLACK is extremely cruel and thinks it can cause severe psychological issues. - The white band wrapping the SOUL changes color depending on the Risk Level of the patient on a scale of 1 to 7. More on Risk Level later. If you made it this far, I will give you one bit of spoiler: UnderSwap Sans is a patient and his "glitch" is that he has anthropophobia and very prone to anxiety attacks. Speculated to be caused by his UnderSwap Papyrus being very very abusive towards him (yes, UnderSwap Papyrus is also a patient). Doggo (who is staffed at UJCF) is one of the very few who is able to get near US Sans without him going into an attack. US Sans petting Doggo is therapuetic. UnderFell Sans is also a patient and his issue is that he doesn't like mustard. As you can see, patients are patients no matter how large or small they different from their accepted AU canon.

UNDERJAIL an AU based on Toby Fox’s Undertale, invented by SEGAMew, who drew inspiration from ______ (first person to reblog and comment the primarily source of my inspiration gets a free Undertale request)

I’ve been writing out lots of ideas and plans for this AU for the past few weeks. Started out as an AU that gives me an excuse to torture everyone, I decided to have more story substance in regards to the idea. Anyway here’s Zans. He’s the warden of UnderJail Correctional Facility. Some info:

- Zrisk and Zhara are the founders. They sometimes drop by to see how Zans is doing and make sure he’s running things smoothly. - The purpose of this facility is to locate Undertale and Undertale AU characters who are not behaving according to accept canon and AU canon specifications (such as UF!Sans! hating mustard, UT!Asgore enjoys murdering children, etc), capture, and register them into UJCF as patients needing to be corrected of whatever is causing them to behave abnormaly. - While some of the staff are UnderJail versions of some Undertale characters, a good portion of the staff are also characters from Undertale and its AUs. The reason for this is explained later.
