When you lost your job and had to go work overnights at 7/11 you couldn't pay your full rent so your roommate said he'd make up for it but that you'd have to work it off. Besides cleaning his house and doing his laundry and running his errands, he used your face as his footstool every night while watching TV or gaming or while on his phone, sometimes he even fell asleep. And his socks really smelled, they sweat a lot in his ankle boots at work all day long and he didn't change them regularly. He told you this was a good lesson in humility considering that you're a grown adult that had to accept help to afford to live, just to get by.
