Unfortunately, she didn't hear his remark about her boss, on account of the quacking and tides. However, she did hear Gemini's reply coming from that box. A bit disappointed in only hearing part of the conversation but that thought left once Pat generously informed her of the ducks' habits, "Okay! Do you like ducks as well? Is that why you knew they were here? Then I should blend in by coming from where the humans are at or- Oh, I have an idea!"

Without giving the boy time to answer, she quickly jumps into the water, only her spout was above water. Keeping mind what Pat said and decided the best cores of action is to pretend to move like an animal commonly found in these here parts...What's friendlier than a toothily smiling fish?!

Moving closer. . .and closer. . . until...nothing happens. Miraculously to everyone's surprise, the ducks didn't seem to notice her presence. Despite how quickly Aquarius is circling them.

Aquarius and Pisces thoughts on Warrock/Omega-xis (before first game)

Aquarius didn't trust or entertain the idea of messing with him given how likely he is to jump into a fight after seeing a certain incident. At least with Gemini, she was able to figure out his ticks but with Warrock, it always felt random. His anger almost felt as if they killed his family or something. More importantly, though, he doesn't really have fun reactions in the few times she's around him. Resulting in telling Pisces to avoid him or else he'll bite their heads off and no one will be able to do anything about it...resulting in Pisces steering clear of him.

Every time Pat made a sound that may have been the beginning of an answer to a question, Aquarius had already moved on to a new one. “We…” He pauses for an awkward second to make sure she was done. “…Most things can’t really drink salt water. It’s complicated. Regular water is fine.” He manages a small smile. “Can you make water?” Remembering that his genuine curiosity could be misinterpreted, he hurriedly added, “…If you can, I don’t need to see a whole bunch of it right now! But maybe just a little?”

At least the talking made the walk feel a lot shorter; they’d made it to the edge of the landscape already. After a bit of a dropoff, there the ocean was, waves rippling gently. As luck would have it, a few waterfowl were indeed on the surface of the water.

“...I can, but that’ll be reckless,” She gave the boy a few pats as she spoke, “You see Pattycakes, I don’t fully know how stable your species is. While I can go based on mostly your word, I learn that smaller meat-people also eat glue, despite it being bad for them. Sooooo if I want to feed you water, I’ll have to figure out if it is edible. What is regular water? Which will take a lot of experimentation and I don’t think Gemini will want that-OH Ducks!” Without saying another word, the chaotic vase moves towards the drop-off with the least number of rocks. Only to then throw herself down the slope. Giggling along the way.

Pat could hear Rey snickering in the back of his mind. Not helping. He hated being at a loss for words when he had to explain something, and Aquarius was proving to be a difficult FM-ian to speak to without fumbling.

"Plus, this park’s actually not far from the ocean,” he continued, tone steadying. “There’s some ducks that prefer saltwater, I think. Do you want to go look there?”

The suggestion seems to do the trick as it manages to get a giggle out of her, “Hehe-YES! Let’s do that! Take us to the salty waters!”

“Maybe we can train one to attack on command- oh-OH! -Patty Cakes!” Unfortunately for Pat though, this jar is not going to make it easier to talk to her as she’s already jumping to the next thought she has, “-so do you like salt water? I know meat people need sunlight and water. Though I realize the report never specifies what type of water. Can I feed you regular water but add salt -Or does it have to be naturally salty?”

I don’t need to stomach through the emotional affairs of humans.” His masks turned to look at Pat, as if threatening him not to say a word against his claims. Before the boy was given time to think, Gemini vanished into his device, allowing Aquarius to take over with her new conversation topic and not allowing the previous topic to linger any longer.

As much as Pat wanted to tell off Gemini right then and there, right now didn’t feel like the best time anyway. Aquarius was still unpredictable, and he didn’t know what the right and wrong things were to say to her yet. Plus, he welcomed a more lighthearted conversation. “Mmhm, I do. They like water, so if you find a good-sized body of it like a pond, they aught to be there.”

Gemini’s lecture only seems to get a pout out of Aquarius before she looks back at him with a grin and waves good bye, “MMMkay Sir Grumps! I-can-technically-say-that-since-I’m-not-on-my-mission-yet!”

Looking back at Pat, she had a puzzled look before developing a twinkle in her eyes, “Oooh! So all we need is a certain amount of water and the ducks will come! I don’t remember seeing a pound nearby, but I have an idea.”

Jumping on top of the boy’s head before continuing, “So Patty Patches, this is your planet, which area do you want to go and bury in water?”

Why Aquarius has no human partner? / my explanation as to why she didn’t help invade earth despite being a chaotic jar She doesn’t like the idea that she had to find a human and trusts them. She’s a terrible liar, so she wasn’t gonna get far manipulating. Nor does she like the fact she becomes a meat bag shield. It’s too much commitment in a short time and a lot of effort. Not to mention the human could be boring and/or too co-dependent. Why does she bother Pat, then? He’s Gemini’s human. Which lets her feel comfortable in growing attached to him. Also allowing her to learn and understand humans/human culture without having to commit to one. Plus, she also finds it interesting that out of all the humans, he picks this silly mossy hair medium size human.
