Feeling the surge of power once she revealed herself, the Servamp of course was startled a little. Who in the world was this now? “Your rain?” He had a slight idea about what this was all about, but still. He’d be lying if he said he was a little unnerved, but that was hard to tell. “Who are you?” He could tell she wasn’t a subclass, or even a Servamp. Though, if she had been the latter he would’ve had a lot of questions. Mainly how.
Feeling his nerves she stepped back a little bit, not wanting to make it worse. “Yes, my rain...” She said with a nod. He didn’t know? Well... Not many knew her human form. Absently, she moved her tails to kind of shield her legs from the rain. “I am Ninetails. The Fallen Goddess. The Demon Lord. Which ever you know me as. My old title...was the Mother of Foxes.” But that was a long time ago now.

Usually he was good at avoiding the sunlight hit him. Usually. Today though, Tsubaki had been caught off guard. Grumbling a little to himself at the forced transformation, he scurried over under the awning and into the shade of a nearby storefront. Shifting his haori a little once transformed back, he glanced up as it started to rain.
“That’s odd…” It hadn’t been supposed to rain today, and he hadn’t caused it. It was more likely just a strange coincidence, but he couldn’t help but feel like something else was at play.
While she enjoyed the sunlight, the Fallen Goddess could see-- and knew why --the man below her did not. Seeing his fox form excited her for a moment. She wanted him to be like that more often but didn’t want him to get hurt while like that. So she used her powers to make the whether change, making rain downpour from the sky. She couldn’t help the small giggle that left her at the shocked expression on his face. Maybe...it was time. Ninetails floated down from her position and landed on her feet nearby but was still invisible to him. She wondered how he would react to her and hesitated a moment before becoming visible to him. “Hello... Enjoying my rain?”
crmsnking:
“Once they see how strong you are, they should back off if it’s just them.” Munakata was another matter. Catching the movement of her ears, a soft noise left him. She likely wouldn’t be able to tell, but he was amused. Like moths to a light. Maybe that’s why she came and hid behind him. Oh well, he was used to others being attracted to his power. Another quiet ‘mm’ left him, acknowledging her name when she spoke it. Reaching the bar, he opened the door, bell jingling above their head. “There’s some couches downstairs if you want to rest. It can get kind of noisy up here at times.”
“Power display still works then? Some things never change...” Power had been the way of the world in her time and now it still seemed to be. But the power lied in different sources. No longer was it just in gods but now humans. It was interesting to her. Her sensitive ears caught every noise he made in acknowledgement toward her. She hadn’t met many that didn’t talk too much, let alone a human. The scent of alcohol and smoke hit her before she even saw the bar. As Mikoto opened the door both scents became stronger and mixed with the scent of more men. Even having a distaste for most men she didn’t feel the need to be defensive as she followed the redhead inside. One ear shifted about, listening to the various voices around her. The other stayed focused on Mikoto. “Thank you. I should be alright for now.”
the-thread-of-muses:
She seemed kind, soft even, as Anna slowly lowered the marble from in front of her eyes; she blinked, slowly, as the Kistune knelt to her level. Ruby eyes blinked, the girl all but moving away from her. What was the name she heard Mikoto call her…? Ninetails…?
She nodded, slowly, nervously, a nervous smile seemed to come onto her pale, doll-like features. “Mhm.” Although she felt comfortable around her – since both Mikoto and Tatara felt safe with the Being – Anna couldn’t help but to feel there was something…More to her than met the eye.
“Who are you?” Simple questions, for now, until she grows relaxed with her.
The Lord stayed still even as the girl before her stepped back. Even her nine tails moved a bit slower. However, it still seemed that this child was intimidated by her. That was fine, Ninetails was far used to it. She never took it personally. That was how everyone reacted to meeting a god...or a demon. “Who am I?” She repeated the question. Again she felt no reason to hide and she had already said her name with no hesitation in hiding it. “My name is Ninetails.” One of them had recognized her, one had not, but both still treated her with normalcy. Her mind wondered what this small girl would think of her. For the first time in awhile...she didn’t want to be feared. At least, not by this child.
raionteima:
⌠❖⌡ “Yeah! I used to really be into History before my hobbies changed away from it, I read everything I could get my hands on and I happened to run into some things about you! I don’t think you’re a demon however like some of the things depicted, you’re still a goddess after all and a really beautiful one at that and I know I can’t see your face under that mask but it’s what I think!” There’s no end to his smile as he closed his eyes in the process, head canting to the side in a slight manner while letting go of her hand so she could have it back.
“I’ll happily show you around then, but, let’s get you some food first while it is still warm you shouldn’t go around on an empty stomach after all!” Spinning on his heels it caused his coat’s belts to twirl around with him, humming as he directed her to the kitchen when–… Well, WHACK… Never walk with your eyes closed, a hand goes to his face, he recoils for a second before laughing. “Ahahah, sorry I do that a lot!” It doesn’t even seem to affect him long before he shows her to the kitchen and fixes a plate of food while other people were doing the same.
Behind the painted fox mask was her shocked expression. His words hit her hard. Not just because they worked like a prayer but because she had not heard such things in thousands of years. It made her heart ache, enough to make her lift her hand to her chest. His words filled her with a warm power she had forgotten the feeling of. She really couldn’t think of anything to say in return, not that she could even find her voice. She’d been stunned into a silence by this boy and his sweet words. Say something-- Luckily, she didn’t have to. The resounding shmack of Totsuka running into something distracted her. She couldn’t help the small giggle that left her. “Are you sure you’re alright?” Her voice had come back, thankfully. Ninetails stayed next to him as they walked, in part hoping that he wouldn’t run into anything again.
raionteima:
⌠❖⌡ The mask did little to deter him from being the most friendly as he could possibly be, it seemed to intrigue him more than anything else really as he kept that warm and welcoming smile upon his features. Really, his assumption was that she was a Strain much like Anna with those tails behind the woman before him, but, upon hearing her name he paused for what was perhaps half a second dredging up old memories.
“Ninetails, you mean, the Goddess Ninetails!? Wow! If you are her, I didn’t expect to meet you!"
… That smile still isn’t leaving he doesn’t show fear and just seems to be even more cheerful in a way, shaking her hand just once even through her hesitation. "I can see why he brought you here no matter who or what you are this is a safe place, you’re always welcome here if you ask me! Would you like me to show you around Ninetails? The bars not very big, but I can also show you to a room you can use and I just finished cooking some food for everyone if you are more than free to have as well!”
He couldn’t see the shock that hit her face. “You...know me? By that title? Most go straight to my demon self rather than my old title...” On top of that she didn’t think she would be believed. Not in this era. Yes, some still believed in the old gods but none truly believed that they could walk among them. Maybe this little bar was really a good place for her. His question pulled her out of her thoughts. “If you’d like... It would help me get my barrings of this place.” The thought of food was another odd one for her. Offerings to her had been food at times and so very well made too. “I think I will... It’s been some time since I had good food.”

Whoever this woman was, she seemed to be readily accepted into HOMRA; Anna already seen both Mikoto and Tatara accept her with open arms. She had stayed hidden and away up to this point, feeling an… …Different a u r a from her than she did with other’s.
Apart of her wondered if it was because she was a Strain like her, the woman’s tails being perhaps the greatest give-away of them all.
HOMRA’S Princess carefully made her way up to the Kistune, bringing up a red marble to her eye; to simply get a better look to the woman; to see if she could learn more, without speaking.
“…You’re different, like me…”
It was odd how easily she was accepted here, without a second thought. And from humans. It had been so long since she was accepted like this that she almost forgot how warm it felt. Among all the loud men and boys it was nearly impossible, even for her, to notice the small girl. Until she heard the little voice addressing her. Her fox ear turned first then her masked face. Her eye was wide under her fake face. The girl was so small, so pretty, so...hurt. She could feel it. Ninetails knelt down to the young girl’s height. “I am... But that makes us special. Right?” Unlike with the previous two she’d spoken to, her voice was soft, soothing for this girl. For the first time in many years she felt the need to protect something.
crmsnking:
Noticing her lack of reply, he assumed she didn’t know they called people like her Strains. Not surprising really, since they weren’t really an organized group. “Mm, trust me, it’s better if you just knock them out. Killing a King’s clansmen just brings more trouble.” Which is why he never killed any of the Blues, even if it’d make things easier. Moving to start walking back to the bar, he pulled out a cigarette. With a quiet snap, his thumb lit up with a flame, bringing it up to light the end of the stick. “Suoh Mikoto.” Part of him wondered if she knew of him, his name was whispered about here and there, usually with his nickname ‘Red Monster’.
The thought of being allowed even a little violent made her smirk a bit sadistically under her mask. “Good to know. Next time I might not be so nice...” She’d have to find out more about this new structure in the country she used to watch over. Ninetails heard him move and stepped into a walk with him. “Mikoto...” It sounded familiar. She thought she heard in on whatever whispered prayers reached her. The sudden flick of fire caught her eye. He could create and control fire? Now that caught her attention so much so that both her ears perked forward. She had always liked controlling fire herself. “I am Ninetails.” She didn’t hide unless it suited her and with him she felt no need. Not after he saved her from whatever the others wanted to do to her.
raionteima:
⌠❖⌡ Oh, a new person had come back with Mikoto, perhaps it was someone new who was going to join their happy little family? It looks like the third in command was already quick in making his way over to the strange new person, a smile upon his features while holding the recording camera in his hand pointed in her direction just as if he were a professional when he was anything BUT that. One could just ’feel’ the excitement radiating off the man as he regarded the woman before him, even offering a hand for her to shake if she so wished to. “Hello pleasure to meet you, my name is Tatara Totsuka! Welcome to Homra I saw you come in with the King and came to greet you first and foremost!” … There might be sparkles behind him right now, as his head canted to the side and his smile all but grew in a kind manner at that.

Stepping into the bar her nose was assaulted by the stinging scent of alcohol. It almost covered up the smell of the various males around her. One of which approached her with zero amount of hesitation. She blinked behind her mask, not use to such brazen introductions. Her tails shifted behind her nervously for a moment but the boy had this air about him that quelled her nerves a bit. How odd... The fallen goddess knew an offered handshake now so she accepted his hand, though hesitantly. “Hello... I am Ninetails.” No point in hiding her name, she didn’t with the man that brought her here. “Yes, he brought me here for my safety.” Even with the excitement he gave off she felt...a calming air to him. Something she couldn’t remember if she ever felt before.
crmsnking:
Chuckling a little at her first statement, he shifted back into his relaxed posture. “They’re doing their job. You’re a Strain, aren’t you?” She certainly looked like one after all. It was easy to spot, especially for them. A soft ‘mm’ left him as he shifted his stance. “They know they’re no match for me. Without their King I could easily kill them if I wanted to.” But he knew better than to do that. Too much trouble. “You’re better off staying around me for now. They’ll be back at some point. With their King.” Well, not that he minded. He was always up for a fight with Munakata.
A Strain? He couldn’t see the look of slight confusion on her face due to her mask. Instead of confirming or denying this fact she remained silent. She didn’t reveal what and who she truly was yet. Something told her to wait. The word King made her ear twitch. Kings? There was no more royalty in Japan. Not as far as she had seen. There must be something new in the country. All that power... Maybe these new Kings were the reason. “They are mere specks next to me. I just didn’t want to get dirty today.” Her head gave a slight tilt at his invitation. Ninetails was drawn to him, perhaps by his power. “Thank you, I’ll accept that invitation. What should I call you?”
crmsnking:
Honestly, between Anna and some of his clansmen, Mikoto was used to being pulled on and tugged at. Glancing down at the woman, he didn’t seem to be fazed by her appearance. Amber eyes followed her pointing, gaze landing on the Scepter 4 members as they ran up. Straightening up his stance, the men seemed to falter. Without Munakata present, they knew there wasn’t a way to handle the Red King. One with black hair brought a hand up, stopping the ginger haired man near him from moving in anyway. Knowing there wasn’t a way to negotiate, he called for them to fall back. The redhead gave a snort, flicking his near finished cigarette away. With a soft poof like noise, it seemingly disappeared. In reality, it burned into nothingness. “They should leave you alone for a while now.”
She watched in silence as the mere sight of this man before her made so many falter. They know him. Clearly, despite their numbers, the blue clad humans stood no chance against this one man. Ninetails watched them go, her breath quickly evening out. When he spoke her gaze shifted up to him. “I did nothing to them.” She said bitterly, releasing him and stepping back slightly. The Kitsune really hated humans sometimes. “For them to run like that from you... You must strike quite a lot of fear into them.” She was curious why and, since her safety currently relied on him, she was going to stick around to find out.
