I would like to know who had the idea of making Galadriel and Sauron have a romantic narrative, to contextualize some plots in the future, the truth is that it was very bold and I think it was one of the best decisions they made.

It’s so crazy that it’s canon that Galadriel was very attracted to and in love with Halbrand/Sauron and because of his abilities he knew exactly how she felt.
This is why he’s so obsessive about her and angry when she rejects him. He’s so confident he can get her because he knows she was in love with him, and at a minimum he was extremely attracted to her.
It must baffle him and haunt him to no end that she keeps resisting him despite that. It’s also canon that he felt a connection with Galadriel that he had never felt before. I wish the writers were brave enough to let them explicitly talk about it in an actual conversation with each other. At least, we got this moment though.
For a doom ship, we have been FED. They are completely obsessed with each other. The show needs to keep it going, it’s too much of a goldmine to not explore. They can do it while keeping them a doom ship. And then introduce Celeborn in season 5, whatever.
I don’t care what the actors or lorebros say about it, they cut Celeborn out of the story for a reason. They could’ve included him and still had a platonic connection. In this story, Galadriel and Sauron had an out of this world cosmic connection that neither one of them had ever experienced with another.
And it was romantic while also being dark, toxic and obsessive. Exactly 0 kings and queens in middle earth ruled together without marriage. HE WANTED MARRIAGE.
