ooc // Hey guys, I’m sorry for being rather MIA on this blog.  I’ve be occupied with real life stuff as well as setting up two new blogs.  I don’t ever plan on abandoning this blog, and once I get my third blog fully set up, I’ll do my best to remain somewhat active over here on Shuuichi.

one of my favorite things about v3 is chapter 6 when the POV swaps to the true protagonist, Kiibo, and you witness firsthand how truly smart Saihara is because he’s throwing out some wild deductions about the game’s rules and the audience and backs all the claims up fully with evidence and you no longer got to see the gears turning in his head or what his thought process was leading up to his deductions and as Kiibo, you could truly just stand in Awe and realize “oh fuck, saihara was devastatingly smart this whole time” and we just never really noticed or cared up until that point since he was our protagonist.

saihara was Always this smart but we were clouded by Saihara’s POV of anxiety and constant thinking.

if you look from the perspective of literally anyone else, Saihara was geniusly smart and such a critical asset to the group. you would never have wanted to argue against Shuichi Saihara, the young detective who seemingly always knew what was correct and could shut down any argument.

what a crazy and cool sonnuva bitch. his only real limitation was his survivor’s guilt and anxiety. I love him.
