He was the founding member of Beherit and also it's sole consistent member. He played all instruments on the Albums: H418ov21.C, Electric Doom Synthesis, Bardo Exist and WBRR. Around 1993 he started losing interest in metal music and started DJing under the name Gamma-G. In 1995 he released a techno compilation called (G)raveyard 2001: The Ultimate Hardrave Massacre.

HOW WAS THE REASON FOR SUCH A LONG SILENCE?

A long silence...? The life has not been so easy here... Also we all got a bit tired of this present scene... maybe you know what I mean??

WHY DID YOU LEAVE ROVANIEMI AND MOVE TO KUOPIO? IS KUOPIO A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE?

I had so many reasons to do it. Well, Kuopio is a better place, but not the best one...

YOUR NEW SONGS ARE LESS FAST AND CHAOTIC THAN THE OLD ONES. WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO CHANGE THE BAND'S DIRECTION INTO MORE SLOWER?

Hmm, I think that we do not have a style... Sometimes we wanna play fast, extreme fast, other day just very heavy and slow. Maybe that's our style.

HOW ARE YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT ALL THESE "TRVE" BLACK METAL BANDS FROM NORWAY? IS IT NECESSARY TO BE NORWEGIAN TO PLAY BLACK METAL?

I would say it is not necessary to act like a little kid to play Black Metal. In Norway there is (or was...) some cool dudes, but too many childish idiota who don't know ANYTHING about Black Metal. Can you take seriously some 15-16 years old kid who sent a threatening letter splattered in blood to my friend. This my friend is 25 years old.

DO YOU PLAY ICE HOCKEY?

No, but I used to play ice hockey when I studied some years ago. But I still like to watch it.

I am very interested about that topic. I have been so called "high priest" in the order of Pagan Magick for some time now. But our coven is more in Pagan way. WICCA... but we use both white and black magicin our rituals, and my ideology is a bit like true satanist has. I try to develop my own mind and powers more and more to higher and higher levels. that's another and this is a music magazine BEHERIT band have nothing to do with satanism nor with any religion, it is just music, black metal. Yeah, thy mighty BEHERIT have answered my questions, and now you can enjoy the infernal chat with Holocausto (g/voc)... you all should know BEHERIT, and maybe you have their debutalbum as well... what a rip off of Turbo rec. to put the old 7" songs on side 2, but what the fuck, this band is great, insane deathmetal with a massive grindinfluence (if you shouldn't know their sound yet). makes me wanna freak out...yep! OK, cut that crap, let us start the 'view......

DON'T YOU THINK THAT ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS FOR YOUR SUCCESS HAS BEEN YOUR EXTREME IMAGE?

We don't have any fucking image (gosh, not even when you look into a mirror??? -N), it is just how we look like at stage. For example sometimes, when I feel evil and dark I paint my corpse and maybe take a bloodbath, or maybe somebody calls me to firebreathing rites...the photographer is not needed.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER AS TRUE DEATHMETAL/A TRUE DEATHMETALLER? AND WHAT IS FAKE DEATH METAL THEN?

Death metal music is brutal music with death lyrics. A true death metaller should look as evil as their music is, MAYHEM, BLASPHEMY, IMPIETY, etc. But at these days many death metal bands look like a bunch of hippies or disco yuppies. I fucken hate bands from Austria for example. I must say that most of normal heavy/rock bands look more evil than these D.M. trenders. D.O. brutal?? Hoh Hoh! Death metal?

I HAVE READ THAT YOU HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH THE CHURCH IN YOUR CITY, WHAT HAS HAPPENED?

I don't live in Rovaniemi-city anymore. Not any big problems cause police didn't get us.

HAS IT BEEN HARD TO FIND SUITABLE GUYS FOR THE BAND? HAVE THE MEMBERS KNOW EACH OTHER BEFORE FORMING THE BAND?

Yes, yes... we have a new line up, it's Dark Goatsavior (b), Necroperverser (d)...these guys I met in 90 (UNHOLY, BEHERIT, COFFIN- gig). They played in COFFIN at that time. I am still on guitars and vocals. Very new member is Lady Goatgoddes of War and Sodomy (occult synth choirs).

FINLAND ISN'T WHAT YOU COULD CALL A DEATH METAL PARADISE, ISN'T IT? IS THERE ANYTHING AT ALL GOING UP? HOW IS THE SCENE?

I don't know cause we don't have any deathmetal scene here in Finland (but not long ago you said the scene in Finland were so big!! -N.). I have heard some Swedu bands, someones okay, but BORING, BORING. It's fucking pretty funny! So many new death metal bands! I hate all trends.

Our band is true underground one. Turbo Music spread our name to everywhere, we do only evil ones. Hm, what the hell did we do before it? 2 demos, some rehearsal tapes and many gigs. We have had many contacts, also to W.Germany (BLOOD, (KILLER), S.O. BLOOD ZINE...) but I really don't know where you have been. (I explained about it earlier...-N.)

GoatVulva was a "side project" of Beherit, it formed in 1989 and split up in 1992. It's two sole members were Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance (Marko Laiho) and Sodomatic Slaughter (Jari Pirinen).

NHV said that it was only a booze project and that all the many demos that were released came in very limited quantities, only about 10 or 20 copies each, so it was very hard to acquire them.

Were these interviews translated, or were they jn English originally?

I believe they were in English originally! Most of the zines they did interviews for were from other countries (France, Germany, Poland, Sweden...), which means they spoke different languages, so I believe they simply talked in English (both the interviewer and the interviewed).

Now from Deep Abyss of Hell comes evil and black BEHERIT!!!! They comes from Finland and their music vein. in godz BLASPHEMY became very popular and known. It's difficult to give you actual line-up 'coz they changes line-up day by day. Some words about their beginning..They started in a half of 1989 in this ritual line-up: Holocausto of the 7th Vengeance - guit..voc.. Sodomic Slaughter - dr.. and Daemon of Fornication - bass, voc. Yeah!!!! Their debut tape "Seventh Blasphemy" wasn't so good, but second demo "Demonomancy" brings them applause of underground. After than they got contract with TURBO Music for Picture 7" Ep "Dawn Of Satan's...". In the beginning of 1991 TURBO Music released their split 7" with DEATH YELL. After that was released album "The Oath Of Black Blood" as vinyl, CD and tape. About that Lp you can read on Review Pages in this issue. Now It's time for interview with Holocausto, so it's getting dark with it...

Holocausto: Darkness!!

What's your philosophy of Evil?

Holocausto: Im not sure what you mean about this Evil philosophy. I am occulsist.

What do you think about graves desecration in France?

Holocausto: I don't know what kinda grave desecrations were there in France. Ludo 'Evil' said that they were only stupid guys. About ancient tombs and cemetary I am very interested to find bones, skulls..

How is Finland to live in?

Holocausto: Finland is very expensive to live...Too cold winter here in north of Finland, I don't like about this country.

What's your most horrible occult experience till now.

Holocausto: Most horrible...Hmm, maybe when my black magic curse was perfectly succeed. It was also great when I came too crazy one night after black candle ritual, yeah...spiritual visions, nightmares, etc... Great! Stoned by black
