āWhat a wonderful dreary dayā - Lily Munster from the The Munsters
In anticipation for the upcoming Munster movie by Rob Zombie it was only fitting that I make some fanart of Lily. I originally had started a piece in January, but then I started on other things and my skill level changed dramatically in the last 6 months, so I restarted the piece.
Below is a WIP I started in January of Lily. Wow what a difference!
My commemorative drawing of my fav boy of Stray Kids for the 2nd day show of Seattle that was FUCKING AWESOME!!!! Seriously, one of my best experiences Iāve had in a while. A nearly 3 1/2 hour show of pure magicalness that I will never forget.
An experiment gone right. Only used 8 colors (minus the whites of the eyes) from a color pallet I found.
Also was experimenting with a brush I bought from marshmal.mochi on Instagram, used for the line art and hair. Overall please with the end result. Swipe for a close up and short process video

Also, Iām re-watching the show. Currently in the second season. Even though I cosplayed as Hikaru early college years (like 15ish years ago) and not do NOT remember what happened in this series at all. Like at all!! Itās so bizarre to not remember anything that happens in the anime because for me I have a decent memory when it domes to anime, so watching the episodes should be triggering memories, but itās not. Itās been weirding my out. All I remember was that I was not happy at the ending because it wasnāt like the manga. But on the plus side Iām watching this as if itās all new to me. So thereās that.
More doodling in procreate. So much more to learn.
Got an iPad and ipencil, therefore I got procreate. So far Iām liking the program, but Iām still getting used to it.
Day 31 - Live
I did it. I FUCKING DID IT!!! I managed to do 31 drawings from drawtober. Iām not gonna lie didnāt think I was going to do all 31 pictures, but persevered and made it. Now for a week off before picking up my tablet again.
As for this drawing...quote some Mushu from Mulan :) Seems appropiate for Wei Wuxian XDĀ
Day 30 - Musical My original thought for this prompt was to do draw then doing some Broadway play, but this this rather musical show in its self *coughcoughwangxian*, but naturally I didnāt have time and something simple would have to suffice. Reminiscent of one of the ending scenes.
Day 29 - Animation Wei Wuxian from the donghua/anime.
To be honest Iām not the biggest fan of the anime. Itās okay, but itās far from good. The pacing is awful. What is currently released should have expanded from 23 episodes to at least double that. To me, I find Wei Wuxian's voice to be very whiny. Some of the animation, while much of it is beautiful, is questionable and clearly they cut corners.Ā
Ā Once the 3rd season comes out I will still watch it, but I much rather watch the MZDS Q which I enjoy watching. Drawtober has put me behind on that XD
Day 28 - Black and White
Ā .....this one was so obvious. No need to say more.
Day 27 - Phrase I should have been known that in his early days to never trust Wei Wuxian when he starts a sentence with āI promise.ā He just canāt promise anything. Okay, one of promises was for Jiang Chengās own good, but still.
Day 26 - Regal Jin Zixuan is such a regal pompous ass. Iām glad heās was redeemable at the end. He died too soon š¢
Day 25 - Message Nothing sends a message like giving your loved one a couple of chickens. Marriage proposal anyone? š¤£ Drunk Lan Zhan is the best.
Day 24 - Uniform
I present to you Sailor Yiling Patriarch and Sailor Light Bearing Lord or Sailor Yiling Laozu and Sailor Hanguang Jun. Iāll let you guys decide which sounds better.
Iām not remotely sorry for this. The prompts Iām using are based off of Sailor Moon so of course with the uniform prompt Iām going to make them into sailor scouts. It was bound to happen. Iām sure thereās crossover art out there somewhere. If not, then wow! Iām the first to something š¤£
I really wish I had more time on this to do these two better. It also means that down the line I maaaay make everyone into a sailor scout. Weāll see.
