think the xuanjoo tag been a bit too quiet recently? well, it’s just the calm before the storm because now presenting!!

Wait, what’s going on?

the lovely tami (junq-han​) and myself (elaina: unsungjoo) have been drowning in xuanjoo feels lately and felt the need to liven up the tag while bringing lovely uniqorns together!

so we decided to do a 10 day drabble challenge together plus one finale fic to wrap up! all revolving around uniq’s dad line ft. their three kids~

Woah okay! When’s this happening?

we will be posting an official schedule and finalized list of prompts once we work out the kijinks. but we’re looking at september 1st to kick off the new school year! there will be posts before then with updates. and speaking of updates…

Awesome! So what can I do until then?

follow this blog to keep up with everything, from news and announcements to the drabbles themselves, and anything else in between (highly recommended) and/or

track “xjficfest” to only get info on the ficfest itself (also highly recommended)

imagine Yixuan trying to make a new dish and asks Wenhan to take the chopsticks and try a piece to see if it’s okay. Wenhan refuses and instead hands the utensils to Yixuan and, closing his eyes, opens his mouth. At this, Yixuan shoves a particularly large piece of cauliflower into the younger’s mouth and laughs at the other’s expression. Wenhan throws a reluctant thumbs up before stomping out.

imagine Yibo showing Seungyoun a secret hiding place he had found while exploring and they visit it together every so often to the annoyance of Yixuan when the maknaes conveniently disappear during cleaning time.

imagine Wenhan teaching Seungyoun origami. After a furiously focused hour and pointed directions, Seungyoun presents a slightly crumpled crane to Wenhan, who looks between the object and its beaming maker for a moment before ruffling the mop of brown hair.

imagine Yibo sitting on the couch and trying to untangle his headphones. Yixuan slides in beside him and, with skillful fingers, untangles it and hands it back with a grin.

imagine Sungjoo reading beside with Yibo as he’s cramming for finals and occasionally offering pointers. After an hour of quiet, he looks up to see that Yibo has fallen sleep, his narrow shoulders rising and falling evenly. Smiling, Sungjoo gets up, puts a blanket over the younger’s shoulders, and pulls out the textbook. Once he makes sure there is breakfast ready and the alarm set for the exam, he sneaks out, turning out the lights as he goes.
