'Being young's no good,' said Jane. 'You've got to have SA.' 'What,' said Miss Marple, 'is SA?' 'Sex appeal,' said Jane. 'Ah! yes,' said Miss Marple. 'What in my day they used to call "having the come hither in your eye".'

Seriously?? It's all exaggerated!
Film - C.R.A.Z.Y. (Soul Searching)
Guys! If you want to experience what a beautiful, sensitive, heart-wrenching....Gay Centric film must be like..then you got to watch C.R.A.Z.Y. This film intricately explores the emotional journey of a guy who is growing up in a family ( & society) that is Homophobic, Hetero-sexist. From subtly talking about the preconditioned societal (& religious) dilemma a child has to face (irrespective of he even being aware about his own sexual orientation....like in a scene where the child's father indirectly expresses that if a male child is not interested in playing baseball, he has to be Sissy) from the day he is born to his growing up days where he has just started exploring his own sexuality & the hatred that comes with it & also the self humiliation that he imposes on himself after realizing that being gay is abnormal & a sin..... to finally living with the fact that he is what he is...& that this fact doesn't change the person that he is....the individual that he is... the good or bad that he is... I am simply in love with this movie & its on my Recommendation list of "Movies that Should Be Watched"...& I am sure you guys would like it too. Dont expect Nudity, there isnt any & it actually takes some guts for a straight guy to play a Gay Lead. Marc-André Grondin is HOT, absolutely DELECTABLE & obviously A PERFECT cast to play "Zachary Beaulieu".
Film :- Kaksparsh:- (Marathi, Love Story, Tragedy)
Jeevala sparshun gheleli ek vilakshan Prem Kahani mhanjech Kaksparsh (meaning 'Kaksparh'..A Stunning Love Story that Touches your Life'. ) A soul stirring saga that takes you on an emotional ride of love, trust and sacrifice. Kaksparsh is about Willingness to sacrifice anything and everything for your faith in Love..for your trust in Love (something that one would only do it for his/her alter-ego). This story takes place in a small village of Maharashtra during the pre - independence era, and hence, has been shot on authentic locations. The traditional ancestral house, costumes, language, props, customs and traditions used in this film are engaging yet in-sync with the story, thus adding charm to the whole experience. Music and background scores which seems to have been inspired from traditional and folk music, are soothing. Songs such as Janma Baicha (which literally means 'Birth of a Woman') where the women of the house come together to celebrate girl's transition to womanhood (after she experiences her first cycle) and Ughawala Narayan (Sunrise) while applying cow-dung onto the floor of a house, are beautiful examples of the culturally rich Traditions of India. Fewer songs have been sung without any help of the instruments, yet they are fabulously serenading. Real stars of the film are its Characters that are beautifully played by Sachin Khedekar, Sanjay Khapre, Ketaki Mategaonkar (actress from Shala), Vaibhav Mangle, Priya Bapat, Abhijit Kelkar, Saksham Kulkarni and others. Haridada, (Sachin Khedekar) head of the Damle family, gets his younger brother Mahadev (Abhijit Kelkar) married to a very young and pretty girl Durga (After -marriage name Uma - played by Ketaki Mategaonkar) who hasn't reached Puberty yet. Tragedy strikes barely a few months later, as young Mahadev dies the very night they were to finally consummate their wedding. Haridada, who is assumed to be concerned about Uma, opposes all the baseless norms and rituals of the society which are stipulated for a widow... one being shaving off her head. These concerns and reliance brings Haridada and Uma close to one another. When Haridada's wife passes away, everybody is expecting him to marry Uma. ( Priya Bapat, who plays the grown up Uma) But for some strange reasons, Haridada refuses to do so and stops talking to Uma completely. The rest of the film is about resolving queries that have been clogging audience's mind. A MUST WATCH film that's close to Perfection. Definitely a strong contender for National Awards.
Film :- XXY (Drama, Fiction, Hermaphrodite)
A film that talks about one of the most important subjects with much sensitivity and respect. Trauma that a child goes through for being "Different" during his/her growing up period due to the societal influence over ones own choice to live a life that one desires to, is well captured.
Alex is a 15-year-old hermaphrodite, with both male and female genitals and is forced to live as a girl by using medicines to suppress masculine features. Her mother, Suli, invites a surgeon, his wife and teenage son Álvaro. The purpose, unknown to Néstor (Alex's Father and Suli's Husband) and Alex, is to discuss the possibilities of a sex-change operation. Alex directly tells Álvaro that she would like to have sex with him. Alex seduces Álvaro and begins to have anal intercourse with him (with her as the penetrative partner), but they are interrupted when Néstor catches sight of them through an open door. What happens next is for you to see.
A must watch for sure.
Animation Film :- Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind - (Animation film’s original title ‘Kaze no tani no Naushika’)
What an amazing story, with stunningly beautiful characters. What I simply loved about this film is that how a fable has been infused in a magnificent story that has very unusual…surreal ….over the top characters yet it isn’t preachy and appears to be very human like. Hats off to the imaginary world of the story and screenplay writer and director - Hayao Miyazaki. Now I know why he is known to be one of the best in his field. Another thing that I liked about the colorful characters of this film is that they aren’t one dimensional. World is being consumed by the Sea of Decay, a toxic forest that spreads through airborne spores and is protected by giant insects called ohmu. The Valley of the Wind is one of the last pure places on earth, and its Princess, Nausicaä, is a strong-willed yet free-spirited young woman seeking to solve the mystery of the Sea of Decay. A nearby nation, which claims to have harnessed the power that allowed humans to rule the earth a thousand years before, takes over after a plane carrying a mysterious living cargo crashes in the valley. What follows in the film is a struggle, not of good versus evil, but of man versus nature. P.S. - Please dont see the dubbed version. Its pathetic. Original version with English Subtitles is available.
