As we approach Commencement letâs take a glimpse back in history to early graduating classes. This photograph is of Class of 1927 at Senior Hall. Each year, the senior class would go to the âsecretâ hideaway, and thus the Ditch Day tradition began. In the earlier years, the location was a ruined adobe building in the outskirts of the city. By the mid-1930s Seniors began to move the location of Senior Hall to a beach.
