“to love her the distance is too far it is too hard to love her. at least that’s what my parents told me once i tried to bite my tongue but it bled right through and I told them how they did not understand but what difference did it make ” you’re too young and inexperienced, you don’t know what you want yet” it took everything inside me not to scream “who really does?” sure, distance is hard but with good love great things can come eighteen years young but still old enough to know how it feels to love someone so much that you would take a bullet just to see the corners of their lips turn up for a minute longer it is not hard to love her. what is hard is when she is miles away and you know she is crying in a pool of her own blood and all you can do is say baby don’t bleed it will be okay baby don’t bleed it is not hard to love her. what is hard is when she is crying in her bed alone and afraid and all you can do is say honey don’t cry it will be okay honey don’t cry it is not hard to love her. what is hard is when she is shaking so hard from the anxiety in her chest and all you can do is say sweetheart just breath it will be okay sweetheart just breath it is not hard to love her. distance may make it hard to take away her blades to hold her in her sleep and to wipe away her tears but it is not hard to love her.”
