Celia: Gritting her teeth and trying to be pleasant while spending the evening with her husband, who she hates intensely. 

Derek: Faking love confessions on the internet and then trolling the victims mercilessly, standing up as many women as he can possibly arrange dates with

Just wondering how would your characters (BTD/2 & The hunt) react to a victim who refuse to give them a satisfaction cry/scream? Like they stay silent while being kill/torture?

Strade: Will get annoyed and more determined. Will do anything to try and get a scream.

Ren: Will get curious about what’s going on, and maybe a little weirdly creative, but mostly will just accept that his person isn’t very loud.

Lawrence: Will be pleased. He prefers quiet and will happily continue whatever he’s doing.

Mason: Won’t change much about his approach. Screaming or staying quiet don’t mean much to him.

Celia: Will harbour a secret respect for her victim- although she might just switch to less ‘conventional’ torture is she doesn’t like her victim.

Derek: Will immediately get more loud and aggressive himself. He has pretty much no patience.

If your BTD/TPOF characters played Dead by Daylight, which killers would they main?

Okay but only because I'm a simp for DBD

STRADE: Doctor - because players hate it and he gets to hear way more screaming

LAWRENCE: Wraith - because he loves being invisible

REN: Blight - because he has the reflexes for it and he would actually care about being meta top tier

MASON: Trapper - I don't feel like I need to explain this one

CELIA: Artist - because she has the ability to think ahead and snipe 3 survivors at once

DEREK: Trickster - and he'd use cheats/crosshair to aim better

Do the BTD and TPOF characters ever seek out consensual, non-sadistic sex? Do they enjoy it, or does it not scratch enough of an itch for them? I’m imagining somebody going home with Strade for a night and not dying solely because that just wasn’t what he was feeling that day. Absolutely wack.

I’d say it’s plausible for any of the game characters [ BTD/TPOF ]! 

Some more than others though. I’d say Celia and Ren are probably more ‘well adjusted’ that way, Lawrence and Derek somewhere in the middle, then Strade and Mason with a ‘possible but very unlikely’ thing going on

You ever done any animations before?

Yes, but never anything long or good. 

I’ve made mostly some animated gif art, usually frame-by-frame by using photoshop [ photoshop actually does have some animating tools, they’re just not very good ]

I also animated a short music video for my Video class final project in college using Flash, featuring characters and themes from my ‘Facility’ comic. [ I got a really good grade! ] however, I don’t want to post that video because I find its quality embarrassing and it also plays to Muse song which I got permission for at the time but would probably get copyright struck for now anyway lmao

What draws strade to a person beside wether or not anyone would miss them? Would he ever fall in “oh shit I need to get this person in my basement” love or is it just based on happenstance?

Oh he absolutely gets ‘infatuated’ by certain people right when he meets them. 

It has a lot to do with how a person acts, but there are some physical things too. Anything on this list would catch his attention [ bold for things that evoke a very strong response ]:

- Talking more quietly than other people

- Having difficulty finding the correct words / stuttering

- Bad posture / demure stature

- Difficulty making eye contact

- Any visible weakness [ like broken bones, missing limbs, even just being thin or short ]

- Displays of emotion [ shaking, crying, inappropriate yelling ]

Why do "pond monster" (Yeah, of course) has only 1 horn? Did Mason take it?

And how do announcer decided to do what he do? Why is he doing this?

"Pond Monster' only has one horn because that's how the skull was when he found it- He woke up after a long 'vacation' and his head was missing, among a few other things. He simply grabs what he can find to replace it. His physical form doesn't matter to him very much.

As for the Announcer, he does what he does because he's passionate about it :) He leaned into his talents and found a strong sense of ambition. He just loves the camera~

hi 👋 so I am in love with your art style and was wondering if you've ever done any rendering tutorials or even just timelapses. i especially noticed in tpof that the shading on the characters is so smooth and was wondering what brushes you use. also where do you find your pose references???

I'm afraid I haven't had time to do any tutorials or time lapses, but I can tell you that I use pretty much the most dirt simple brushes for most of my art [ I just use special brushes for things like textures and sometimes foliage or clouds ]

I ink with a hard round brush [ sensitivity = size ]

And I mostly shade with another hard round brush [ sensitivity = opacity ]

Then I just blend with- you guessed it, another hard round brush 😅

I would like to do a tutorial eventually since people ask me a lot, it's just that I'm always scrambling to get more merch designed lately LMAO

Oh- and as for the pose references, I hate to put this image in your minds because frankly, it's embarrassing, but almost every single CG in the game is made with poses referenced exclusively from myself. I bought a cheap tripod and remote for my 7 year old phone and I took photos of every CG pose until I got exactly what I wanted. Hundreds of incredibly weird photos of me that will never see the light of day.

Celia would treat her ex-captive like more of an equal, but she’s also going to change a lot herself.

She’s been unchained as well, and she’s ready for a life on the run. She has a Bonnie and Clyde sort of life in mind [ or Bonnie and Bonnie ;) ]

MC might find themselves having to reign in her crazy ideas a bit, listing the reasons why they shouldn’t just rob a bank while she laughs and says they’re just the cutest when they’re concerned.

She’d still probably get a little rough when things get heated though :3c She loves her MC but she just can’t help herself 🤷‍♀️

No LMAO I stopped a several years ago, I think in 2018. Then I played Dead By Daylight [ which I very much prefer ] for a few years until my computer stopped being able to play it. Now I play nothing at all and don't have time to anyway 😂

But I remember the characters well enough:

Derek: Genji main. Screams at healers after he runs in alone and gets himself killed repeatedly

Mason: Reinhardt. Enjoys the powerful hits and slower gameplay.

Celia: Widowmaker. Loves to prove people wrong when they get upset at her for picking someone difficult.

Hey there! I’m working on a little art piece and was wondering (if you haven’t already) if you had to give your BTD boys animal counterparts which animals would they be? (Well ren is pretty obvious)

Ren: Japanese Red Fox

Lawrence: Either a Jackalope or North American White Tailed Deer ( bonus points for backwards antlers )

Strade: Wild Boar ( I used to say Hyena but I like the Boar idea better )
