checks my watch oh. Oh dear. It’s been… awhile, since I’ve posted.

Uhm, okay, long story short: I’m going on hiatus. Explanation down below:

So, I’m not gonna lie, roleplaying on Tumblr has kind of… turned into a chore, for me? Like, I love roleplaying, I love writing; sharing ideas, seeing peoples’ interpretations of characters, of events- or making new scenes outside of canon to build character, and forming bonds with everybody? It is so. Fun. Choosing to roleplay on Tumblr was one of the best decisions Ive ever made, and I don’t want to quit.

But… it’s become tiring. Replying turned into an obligation, something of guilt. Something to give to people, rather than for something to enjoy. It’s just… I don’t know.Every time I think about replying, I get scared. Because I have so many drafts over so many blogs, and it gets scary. Honestly, part of the fault is making new account after new account after new account (WHICH I DO NOT REGRET, but it’s so much to keep track of), but point still stands.

Not to mention, I’ve started college. It’s… well, ok, it’s better than highschool, but still so troublesome. And I’ve been having a lot of trouble balancing my personal life, school, and also the fact I’m dming two D&D campaigns which is. Again, my fault.

But idk. Lots of stuff are going on in my life, and I’m barely holding on and managing them. It’s a lot, and. Idk. I don’t want to go on hiatus, I really don’t, but I need to reprioritize. And figure out what I want to do.

I might merge all my blogs into one big one bc. Jesus Christ all my blogs… so much……. And. Idk.

I don’t know when I’ll come back, hopefully when the semester ends, but I don’t know.

His luck’s been shit recently.

For some reason, ever since he got on this island, Lady Luck has decided to give him a fat fucking middle finger.

Granted, this middle finger is not the biggest one he’s got, but it’s still pretty big.

Stranded on some island with the thickest trees he’s ever seen, Mulberry hasn’t been able to get any food. All the berries he’s eaten make him sick the next day, the animals he’s hunt have always managed to beat him half to death, and even the water is somehow making him see those golden gates?!

He’s been starving for the past few days and is probably going to die soon!

However, lo and behold, a pirate ship is spotted in the near distance. Granted, it’s the Strawhats, and Mulberry does not want to mess with pirates- especially ones as dangerous as them- but what other choice does he have?!

“Wait, hold on-!” Hand held out in front of himself, the other holding the bitten-into bread. “This doesn’t- I don’t mean any harm!”

Honestly, if he did, he’d only get two steps before being killed by one of them- the pet would probably do the job.

“I just- I’m gonna take this bread and go, okay? I’ve been really hungry these past few days, and this was just a last resort! I’ll get out of your hair right now, if you let me!”

Being the direct cause of someone’s death, blood on his hands, is something Mulberry can’t bring himself to do.

Of course it’s too bizarre!

Okay, okay- maybe Mulberry shouldn’t be talking about his coworker like this. She’s older, and in a higher position than him. Well, there’s no positions in the CP9 except for Director and members… but anyways! He can’t accept this idea! No way in hell can he accept this idea!

Kiyone’s got like- no wrinkles!! She may be in her 30s, but she looks young, way too young to be considered anybody’s mom. Adding on, Mulberry’s, like, what? Twenty-two, right? Two full grown adults claiming they’re mother and son isn’t going to work- it’s not, no way in hell is it gonna work!

God, I might just choke myself to get out of this-

Taking a short breath, Mulberry tries to regulate his temper, not wanting to jeopardize the mission all because of an outburst.

“…siblings, or friends.” There’s a small bite to his words, one that, no matter how much he tries to hide it, it’s there. “A thirty two and twenty two year old aren’t going to pass. Either one of the ideas I provided would be better… I think.” Another deep breath, to regulate himself.

What was a simple competition with money on the table, soon turned into a manhunt for Mulberry’s life, the fellow pirates he was competing with assuming the young fool had cheated.

In the midst of this manhunt, an explosive was sent towards the boy, and before he knew it, Mulberry was sent flying-

-slamming right into the ceiling of where a man sits, Mulberry placed next to him.

“…shit.”

Grus had certainly not expected to watch someone almost blown up while he sat in his boredom. But at least something was going on, right?

Though the way the explosion seemed to just propel the other, and the fact the other didn't slam right through the tiles of the roof seemed like a miracle.

The marine shifted on his haunches to gaze at the young man, appraising his condition.

" Jeez, kid, you alright? "

A casual laugh escaped his lips, fixing his cap to glance down at the pirates across the way.

" Those guys don't look too happy, what'd ya do? "

Such a casual question, for a man in his position.

As soon as he sees the coat adorned on the stranger, Mulberry is quick to move to the other side of the roof, the distance almost comical for the almost casual air right now.

“…yeah, I’m fine.”

He’s not attacking me. Maybe this guys not aware of my bounty?

It makes sense- there are a lot of pirates in the sea…

Please let that be the case.

“I didn’t do anything,” Mulberry defends, “Just… I won a couple games against those guys, and they thought I cheated.”
