Covid-Sucks

Graduating with my undergrad in psychology this month! Super excited to get my degree, but I was supposed to go to Paris with my mother the first week of June as a graduation celebration/gift. My birthday was at the end of March and we were not able to celebrate like we planed. After Paris I had plans to head to Berlin to visit my friend who is a signer there and who I haven’t seen in ages :( Finally in August I was supposed to start an internship in Thailand teaching English to school children. Feels like my life has been on hold for years while I completed my degree, working my ass off so I could graduate with no debt. I was so excited to finally embrace my fernweh and post pics and writings on this blog that I had made myself. I have been watching friends who went the untraditional route travel the globe and felt immense jealousy, but knew that once I graduated I would take time to experience it myself. Now I am a little lost not knowing what I want to do next. I feel so sorry for those who have sick family members or who have lost people because of this disease. I have so much respect for the first responders, hero's, and those who are working the front lines of this pandemic. But is it wrong that I am pissed at the timing of everything? Hope everyone is keeping safe! Hopefully we’ll be able to plan some fun trips and events soon
