[12:44] TG: welcome back from vacation
[12:44] TG: did you have a nice trip
[12:44] TT: Would you really consider that a vacation?
[12:44] TG: yeah sure i mean i did like zero dishes while i was there
[12:45] TT: You are simply impossible.
[12:47] TG: is that a good thing
[12:47] TT: I have yet to decide.
[12:50] TG: yeah so where did tripadvisor skaia™ book you for
[12:51] TT: I "woke up" in a small neighborhood called Lethargum.
[12:51] TT: While it was supposed to supply us with everything we could possibly want, it was incredibly lonely.
[12:52] TT: Where were you?
[12:54] TG: uh it was like the trippiest candy colored bullshit land you ever saw
[12:54] TG: kind of like your planet actually
[12:54] TG: except it was called misery or something like that
[12:54] TG: which is just not cute
[12:54] TG: and really bad tourism advertising
[12:54] TT: I find it hard to believe any of these mystery locations were cute.
[01:02] TG: ok fair enough
[01:02] TG: what was so bad about lethargum though
[01:02] TG: i wasnt there was i
[01:02] TG: people keep saying theyve seen me and im like
[01:02] TT: No, I don't think you were.
[01:02] TT: At least I don't remember seeing you there.
[01:03] TG: maybe we both have amnesia
[01:03] TT: Although, I did miss you.
[01:03] TG: it could be genetic
[01:03] TT: Lethargum was "perfect" in theory, but as stated previously, it was terribly lonely.
[01:04] TT: There were also painful reminders that I would rather not remember anymore.
[01:04] TG: werent you with people though
[01:06] TT: I was, but I still felt like I was the odd one out.
[01:06] TT: Jake and Jane, for instance, were already great friends with each other.
[01:06] TT: Mituna and Meulin knew each other prior to knowing the rest of us.
[01:06] TT: The Captors naturally bonded together.
[01:07] TT: Aradia was already Sollux's friend as well.
[01:07] TT: Even Callie had already befriended Jane and Jake.
[01:08] TG: wish i was there xoxo
[01:08] TG: unfortunately i was busy
[01:08] TT: Your belated sentiment is appreciated.
[01:11] TT: What were you busy with?
[01:11] TG: not gonna lie
[01:11] TG: sleeping mostly
[01:11] TG: most of the time we were sleeping we were actually sleeping
[01:11] TG: except for some parts
[01:13] TG: yeah like the funeral
[01:13] TG: and the federally required boss battle
[01:13] TG: there has to be a boss battle at the end of a level thats like the rule
[01:16] TG: i was with roxy
[01:16] TT: Was there anyone else with the two of you?
[01:18] TG: nepeta and terezi were there
[01:18] TG: also the vantas who never shuts up
[01:18] TG: ok i guess thats both of them
[01:18] TG: kankri was there
[01:18] TG: and vriska and tavros
[01:18] TG: and my crazy hero damara
[01:19] TT: Your crazy hero Damara?
[01:20] TT: What could she possibly do to be your hero?
[01:21] TG: i realized that she is so crazy that she basically doesnt care about anything
[01:21] TG: rose listen to me
[01:21] TG: we got hauled out of our beds in the middle of the night and taken to this place like we were political prisoners and they were the secret police
[01:21] TG: and then roxy was going to be sacrificed to chtulhu
[01:21] TG: and then we slaughtered cthulhu
[01:21] TG: and this whole time
[01:22] TG: she was smoking a j and chatting up her jailor in japanese
[01:24] TT: She's your hero for not even bothering to try to save Roxy?
[01:24] TT: I don't think I understand this logic.
[01:29] TG: i guess im just jealous
[01:29] TG: dont you think it would be nice sometimes to not give a shit about anything
[01:30] TT: I believe that sloth and lack of motivation were actually key concepts of Lethargum.
[01:31] TT: We were passively encouraged to enjoy ourselves as much as we wanted with very little, if any, responsibilities.
[01:32] TG: and somehow that sucked
[01:32] TT: Are you being sarcastic?
[01:34] TG: one part of me understands why its important not to be an irresponsible jerk with no friends but another part of me is feeling like napoleon dynamite
[01:35] TT: We were prisoners not only by the inability to leave but also personal desires and guilt.
[01:38] TG: what does that mean in a non vague sense
[01:39] TT: We literally could not leave and were subtly discouraged from feeling the need to do so.
[01:40] TG: so the voices in the tv made you not wanna leave
[01:43] TT: Almsot everything desirable in our imaginations could be found there, but there were also less desirable parts of this place.
[01:44] TT: For example, we found DVDs of security footage which displayed those we thought highly of saying and doing things that were meant to damage our relationships, self esteem, and even motivation.
[01:45] TT: In hindsight, they were likely manipulated to serve this very purpose, but they affected us deeply.
[01:46] TG: nice to know im not the only one who feels like we were being dangled like puppets on strings
[01:47] TT: In short, we both had our pitiful asses handed to us on silver platters.
[01:48] TG: it was pretty fucking embarrassing
[01:49] TG: lets neglect to add this one in the family annals
[01:50] TT: Speaking of family annals, I don't believe we had the chance to take Roxy and Dirk to Disneyland.
[01:51] TT: Would you still be willing to partake in this?
[01:53] TG: i love going out in public and looking at all the people who dont have their faults and failures shoved into their faces by cosmic forces on a weekly basis
[01:54] TT: Everyone in Disneyland does seem to be praised rather than reminded of their flaws.
[01:54] TT: It would be a refreshing change for all of us.
[02:04] TG: no fuckin kidding
[02:04] TG: can you believe this bullshit
[02:05] TG: do you think any of the other millions of people at disneyland have ever woken up from a month long nightmare
[02:05] TG: and thought wow not this shit again
[02:05] TG: we should at least get nobel peace prizes or something right
[02:06] TT: I don't think anyone else beyond our social group has every suffered such an experiment.
[02:08] TG: but we saved the world anyway
[02:08] TG: i mean i guess we also ended the world
[02:08] TG: but it was going to end anyway
[02:14] TT: I think we have been through enough to last more than a single lifetime.
[02:18] TG: yeah and how much do you wanna bet theres more shit flying our way
[02:21] TT: I would be willing to bet another one of my lives.
[02:25] TG: not that we dont have lives on lives on lives to throw away like some kind of totally useless commodity
[02:25] TT: Is it a gift or a curse?
[02:25] TT: Most of the time I feel it is both.
[02:26] TG: it makes death kind of like this meaningless occurrence that you get emotional over for no reason
[02:26] TG: like why do we even care anymore
[02:31] TT: At the same time we value our lives more because one fatal incident could result in a permanent death.
[02:32] TT: We could teeter on the edge of just and heroic or simply fall off of a cliff.
[02:34] TG: yeah it also makes killing yourself way harder
[02:35] TT: I'd rather not venture in that topic right now...
[02:36] TG: so when do you wanna go to disneyland
[02:41] TT: Originally I was hoping that we could go in the late summer/early autumn since the weather would be optimial to walk around in without feeling overwhelmed by heat or lack of heat.
[02:41] TT: Although now, it is rather chilly out on Earth again.
[02:44] TG: but not in california
[02:44] TG: california is the land of sunshine and dreams
[02:45] TT: Is it really?
[02:46] TG: i dont know probably
[02:46] TG: none of us grew up in california so it could be true
[02:54] TT: It could also be false.
[02:54] TT: Do you even understand the importance of verifaction of facts?
[02:55] TT: I should have expected that much of you.
[02:55] TG: yeah you should have
[02:56] TG: i mean we just spent a month in a coma having collective dreams
[02:56] TG: how important are facts really
[02:56] TG: what is a fact
[02:57] TG: is it a fact that i was there because my mind was there or was i here because my body was here
[02:57] TG: was my body here
[02:57] TG: who was even watching us
[02:57] TG: they could have been doing anything
[02:57] TG: who is even like
[02:57] TG: in control of what was going on
[02:57] TG: like whose idea was it
[02:57] TG: to put these indistinct blobs everywhere
[02:57] TG: if youre going to create a whole fake land
[02:57] TG: cant you at least make the people in it look like real distinct creatures
[02:58] TG: and also im like one hundred percent positive
[02:58] TG: that they were deliberately designed to look totally harmless
[02:58] TG: and feed us WAFFLES
[02:58] TG: just so that they could win our trust
[02:58] TG: and destroy us
[02:58] TG: but it was all a dream
[02:58] TG: which means none of it was real and we couldnt be destroyed
[02:58] TG: we totally could have
[02:58] TG: that shit fucked us up
[02:58] TG: so what are facts REALLY

[02:59] TT: Oh I'm sorry.
[02:59] TT: Were you still talking?
[02:59] TG: hey fuck you too
[02:59] TT: I love you too.
[02:59] TG: yeah yeah whatever
[03:00] TT: I actually am going to leave now, though.
[03:00] TT: Ironic as it is, I'm actually quite tired and would like some sleep for a while.
[03:01] TG: that is ironic but ill let it go
[03:01] TG: sweet dreams hahahaha
[03:01] TT: I am not amused.
