“I don’t trust doctors..except dad..” Humra mumbled, burying her head in her arms. Shugo was the only doctor she trusted..the others caused her a lot of pain when she was younger. Sure a lot of them were Cipher BUT REGARDLESS!

“No, I’m not.. I’m just at his bedside and trying to give him as much comfort as I can.” Trick answer, mother. Humra always does worrisome things. “Mm..making sure no one pulls anything on him..”

"Humra...." Of course, that was not hard for Satou to understand. It made her a touch angry, though not at her daughter. It wasn't fair that good people were tainted for Humra.

Also, that sounded worrisome coming from Humra. The one who needed the most comfort right now wasn't unconscious, after all.

"Well, if that's how you're gonna be... Guess your dads and I will have to come keep you company!" Satou decided, "Are you remembering to eat? Should we bring you some food?"

“Uhm..no. I haven’t-but I can stay. Do you have cake? I think I like cake more than movies..does that Mikale-human make a lot of those. You two are mates right? Or is that the blonde bird’s kid?”

“ Y-You love cakes more than meeee... “ Satou deflated as she released ExDee, instead covering her face melodramatically with her hands. And then collapsing to her knees. It was hard to tell just how much of this was Satou actually being devastated, and where her eternally playful personality was sinking in. “ This world is so cruel and unfair. None of my kids want me. None of my GRANDKIDS want me. They just want Mikale and his baking.... “

“Aw shoot, I guess I’ll have to come back later…” She teased as she embraced her bestie and gave her a kiss hello. “Sakura and Chika are here too? Good, good. Thank you for taking care of him while I came over. I really appreciate it.”

Dusk stepped in and shut the door behind her. “I hope you don’t mind, but we can catch up in a moment, son comes first!” She gave an apologetic bow and then ventured up the stairs to Yuuto’s room.

“H-hello? May I enter..?”

BESTIE KISSESSSSS. Oh. Okay.

“ Mm. Take your time. We’ll be down here. “ Satou patted Chika’s head as she spoke, since she knew the blond daughter wanted to take off after Dusk. But nope. That wasn’t an option. Mom and son needed some time... and Chika needed to get her mind off worrying so much. She was turning into her mother!

Upstairs, Yoshiya had been made to lay down in bed. He was allowed to listen to music and read a bit, but ordered to stop the instant he felt any strain or headaches... and Satou was intimidating enough to make him listen.

“ C-Come in.... “ Like a good boy, Yoshi stayed laying down. Unrestricted was his Duskull, who phased through the door to stare oddly at Dusk.

-SNIFFLE- “A-aw… I-I’ll be there really soon! I have to make a single stop.”

And she was there soon, a little gift box in her bag, neatly wrapped in white and blue decorated wrapping paper and ribbons.

“Anyone home?”

“ Nope, we’re all out! “ Satou has opened the door and is full of bright smiles. Behind her are the baby chicks-- Sakura and Chika-- who have been helping her take care of the broken father. “ Come on in. Yoshiya is upstairs in Yuuto’s room. “

“A new friend? T-that’s great! Who is it?” Dusk wondered for a moment if she was talking about Dia, but ruled that out quickly. Dia’s post seemed to imply she just dropped him off and left. “Arceus, I’m just glad he’s safe… Can you tell him that I love him and that I’ll be there soon?”

“ He brought home a Duskull~! And he’s such a cutie. He’s helping us prepare for dessert! Oh, and sure. One sec--- “ And then, a moment later, ” -- He says that he loves you too~ “

*tiny quiet chirps* Yes~

That’s right, he is also sleepiest head human.

Kalos, the place of great bread. I’ll be coming for the booooootiful cake.
