finally decided to draw out an idea i’ve had for a while of jigsaw apprentices (and the others) having their own puzzle pieces
more thorough explanation under the cut that i BEG that you read because i actually put thought into this:
lawrence’s puzzle piece: shoulder
was originally carved into his ankle underneath the chain cuff but had to be redone by john because of…obvious reasons
john re-carved the marking into lawrence’s shoulder while he was in his care. the placement symbolises where he shot adam and act as a constant reminder of lawrence abandoning him (except not here because let’s pretend adam survives miraculously)
adam’s puzzle piece: ankle
pretty simple, only carved there because of the cuff on his leg from the bathroom
he is vaguely mad he isn’t twinning with lawrence anymore though
amanda’s puzzle piece: arm
where else would i put it really? taking into account her previous drug addiction and sh the poor girl’s arms have been through a lot
john actually didn’t carve hers pre-game like everyone else’s; he did it during her ‘baptism’ if you will when she joined him as an apprentice
lynn’s puzzle piece: temple/side of head
again, pretty simple. references shotgun collar and how she could’ve had her head blown off
hoffman’s puzzle piece: lower back
no other reasoning other than i thought it was funny to give him a tramp stamp
strahm’s puzzle piece: chest/neck area-ish
honestly i wasn’t too sure where to put strahm’s because he’s already got a scar from the water cube and the glass coffin didn’t really leave much room for physical injuries that wouldn’t kill you instantly
decided on placement because of symmetry with trach scar (the artistic reasoning, if you will), and also peter’s buttons are opened during the water cube in a way that suggests that hoffman did it on purpose
i will pretend that he opened them up for the sake of carving the puzzle piece into strahm’s chest as opposed to just getting him to show some titty
a couple of people have mentioned wanting these to be tangible, and i cant do that for the forseeable future (literally just dont have the means to do so) , but YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH MY ART AS LONG AS YOURE NOT SELLING IT AND I GET CREDIT FOR DRAWING IT LMAO!!!

the thing about the saw IDs is that at first glance they look fine but the more you look at them the funnier they get.
mark hoffman was born on the 60th september or in the 60th month. perez’s sheet is signed by costas for whatever reason. hoffman’s apparently 6ft 1” when costas is 5ft 9” (or so a quick google search tells me). perez and strahm are the same person according to their fingerprints. i owe my life to these information sheets

So I hope you don’t mind me taking creative liberties but you said you like Chrashley, Climbing Chrash, and Matt x Ashley and I couldn’t help but wonder… why not all the above?
My background source this time was SketchFab which offers free 3D models. I got silly with the locker graffiti but kinda wish I did more.
And… I will warn you I’m not much of a fic writer, but I wanted to try and provide a little bit more for your gift. Please enjoy this silly Drabble featuring Stoner Ashley! Because I too swear by that.
In retrospect they really should’ve started like this. It would’ve made the popcorn and the crummy film itself a ton better.
“That was uh… some pick, Josh.” Matt exhaled smoke through his nose, brows furrowed skeptically. Chris, sprawled out across Matt’s somehow longer-than-his legs chuffed as he plucked the blunt from Matt’s fingers.
“Well, the first red flag was Old Man Roberto Washingtino giving it his highest rating.” Josh rolled his eyes, barely waiting before snatching the blunt away from Chris.
“C’mon, Cochise. You know better than anyone not to hold it.”
Chris smiled lazily, almost deviously up at Josh, head in his lap with Ashley’s head on his chest, hand nestled in her hair and occasionally brushing fingers with Matt. Ashley tilted her head up, eyes red and bleary. She swears it’s just the weed.
“It actually… damages your lungs if anything. Let it out, dummy.”
Chris frowned, worriedly up at the other two fellas who simply nodded at him, Chris turning a shade paler as he released the plume of smoke from his mouth, only for Ashley in a surprise move to sit up and try to inhale it herself. They’d all been telling her to be more impulsive, and Chris looked as adorably stunned as she knew he would. It was almost perfect.
If only Josh hadn’t had the same idea, at nearly the exact same moment, their heads bonking together so forcefully the taller men shared in the agony with a collective of hisses and oofs. It had sounded awful.
“Babe, you alright?” Chris winces as he backtracks from trying to rub the point of contact, sitting up to kiss around the area in an awkward attempt to provide comfort.
“Josh what the Hell?” Whinily, Ashley clings to her other two boyfriends (well, truth be told they were still in the ‘how do we decide this’ stage, and Matt was now a part of that process, and everything from darts to suggestions in a hat had come up but… ultimately they’re just four geniuses milling about in Josh’s bed. With no clarity. Just the way Josh likes it; muddled and confusing.)
He snorts, trying to act as though the impact hadn’t been as bad for him. “Loving the part where I don’t get any kisses on my fucking booboo, Cochise.”
“Bro. This was totally on you.”
“Traitor.”
“Know what? Fuck it. We ball.” Matt leans over, planting a ‘smek’ on Josh’s forehead, catching the surliest of them all by surprise. Lots of surprises going around today.
Matt blinked. Suddenly feeling three pairs of eyes just dwelling on him as though he’d just sprung the most divine of all epiphanies on them all.
“Uh… should I not have, I mean… When Ash invited me I kinda figured this was it and we were going for it.”
Ashley, her reaction timing muted by her current state, pursed her like in thought. “I… I mean I don’t freaking know. I totally never expected one boyfriend, and now I’m shotgunning three. I am so not the one to ask!”
The Cheshire grinning bastard with his devious gleaming eyes snickered because of course he’d have more to say. “Yeah? You sure about that? You know cause it seems like you had a plan when you went up to our football champ over there and bewitched him.”
Chris deliberated, but ultimately fell in line. Because once again, no duh. “Ahh, you’ve seduced us all with your sultry redhead wiles… just like your reverse harem anime’s.”
High or not, that finally brought back the sputtering defensive Ashley they’d all grown accustomed to. “First of all— never in my life would I ever! Ever ever—Are you listening to me, Chris?—ever watch that crap!”
Matt tilted his head. “I thought you and Hannah liked that one with the girl in the boy’s uniform?”
“Oh? My god we’re getting so off track? Shut up?”
“Right, back to the Ashley Brown Dating Sim Secret Ending.”
Ashley snatched the blunt from Matt and inhaled deeply. She’d be needing a lot more at this rate…
