You can call me Pluto or CC— both work, no preference! I’m in my 30s (1/22/92) and I’m pretty regularly online. All my responsibilities are at home so I’m pretty much always BSing on here at all odd hours of the day. I love Supermassive Games, but I don’t care for Man of Medan. I also love Silent Hill (2 mostly, but I like 4 and I am in LOVE with Silent Hill F) and the Harvester games (The Devil Came Through Here and Burnhouse Lane). Horror is my favorite genre but I like other games too, even though I suck at actually playing them and cannot afford to. Non-horror faves include The Great Ace Attorney, Date Everything, and Spyro just to name a few.
I’d prefer to not interact with minors very much but I don’t always know when someone is or isn’t, so I apologize. I’d rather the people following me be 18+ only. Please understand this is for both of our sakes. I make crude jokes and occasionally draw NSFW. Please please please be mindful when I tag something as ‘minors DNI’.

I love it when traumatised characters are hard to love. I love it when it when they're vicious and cruel and unfair to people who care about them. I love it when they respond violently to gentle hands and take their hurt out on others.

Chris and Ashley date for a little while after the events of Until Dawn, but Chris is unable to get over what happened and the “loss” of Josh. He ends up extremely inattentive as a direct result, and also becomes borderline alcoholic just trying to cope with everything he saw and lost.
Ashley resents him a little but also not for long. They liked each other a lot but the circumstances weren’t great. Ashley also has just always had… well, a feeling. They break up amicably, but for awhile only meet up at with the others who hold a weekly sort of group therapy over coffee/sometimes dinner. Emily does not attend these meetings ups.
Sam for a long time is the only one ensuring Chris gets out of the house. She genuinely fears for him getting too lost in the sauce, but by looking after him she’s also desperately trying to keep herself busy and occupied. SHE organizes the group meet ups. SHE is the only one who can still get through to Emily. SHE is the one who texts everyone at least once nothing, noon, and night to make sure they’re okay and topped off on all their needs. She’s lost her found family in the Wasingtons, she’s not losing the others no matter how far Emily pulls away. Sam also changes her career goal to Search and Rescue, wanting to prevent things like this from happening to other people. (Her life basically turns into the Search and Rescue creepypasta aka The Stairs.)
Ashley dives into her writing to cope. She has an entire manuscript about what happened on the mountain written. She’s too afraid to ask permission to have it published, even if she changes names. She’s afraid of incurring wrath from the Washingtons. She also feels partly responsible for the loss of their daughters. Her signature beanie, which was formerly Beth’s but given to Ashley during a bad high, she can’t wear anymore but keeps displayed in her room.
Mike and Jess hastily rushed into living together. It works out in the end but there’s a ton of trial and error. Mike can’t stand having Jess leave his sight for long because he starts to panic severely and Jess cannot be alone, especially not in the dark. But her family was stifling and his was apathetic and they just needed a change but at times their trauma clashed aggressively and lead to a few fights, normally ending in Jess crying (Mike too, but… he’s macho about it smh). They eventually adopt a few dogs together in addition to Jess’ little Pomeranian.
Mike regularly has to comfort Jess about her scars. He calls her beautiful, but at this point in her healing she just doesn’t believe him. (Mike still has all of his fingers.) Jess is still trying to find a new career goal for herself, and it’s hard because she wasn’t exactly acing her classes before all of this. She ends up doing really well on a streaming platform playing games though, and Mike strategically stays out of the picture for the most part. (She loses a chunk of her following when they find her social media and see an engagement why ring on her finger a couple years later.)
Mike and Jess take up self defense classes a few months after returning home as well. They’re eventually able to get most of their friends to join in and Matt ends up getting a job as one of the instructors. It brings him an enormous sense of peace. Ashley is the only one who doesn’t sign up, and Matt repeatedly reaches out to teach her in private before she eventually relents and he starts teaching her in her home.
Emily pulled out of the group and eventually broke up with Matt officially via text message only a week after the events of what happened. She only keeps in touch with Sam because girl is persistent but out if everybody she’s always had the least beef with Sam.
Emily asked Mike once more if there was sincerely no hope of getting back together and when he gently but firmly said no she left it at that. They still follow each other on socials but don’t interact with one another’s posts, though they do still check in said posts.
Emily and Matt interact again only once and it’s when Matt’s trying to get everyone to join self defense. She tells him she’s already got a personal trainer. It ends there.
Jess and Emily are able to apologize to each other. They occasionally reconnect but Emily can’t overlook the whole dating-my-ex thing and Jess can’t just act like she hasn’t fallen in love with Mike. There’s still a rather nasty edge when they do interact every couple of months. They meet up for coffee a few times a year but ultimately Emily is career focused so she buries herself in fashion and school and starts attending classes on the other side of the country. She eventually begins specializing in stylish protective gear, and admittedly it’s fine with Jess in mind. The model she’ll never have… Sam tells her she’s proud of her and Emily scoffs.
Sam is eventually able to coax Emily out of the closet. The stuff with Jess finally set off Sam’s gaydar and she gently pries the truth from Emily, shocking both of them honestly. In this reading Emily is bi rather than fully lesbian. From there Sam commiserates in Emily that she’d been deeply in love with Hannah, and Emily wonders aloud why Sam doesn’t hate her, Jess, and Mike. Sam admits she did for awhile, but just couldn’t stand the idea of losing more than she had… and she’s grateful to still have them all even after everything.
Sam is the first to learn about Emily’s new girlfriend, an aspiring actress named Emma Mountebank. Emily tries to hook Sam up with girls from her school, but Sam’s just not ready to dig her heart out from a grave.
Chris goes into program a successful mobile game that tricks people into taking care of their mental health. You level up by being consistent with your meds, your food/water intake, and your outdoor time. He begrudgingly also included a period where you level up by reducing screen time. It was Sam’s idea.
Matt and Ashley eventually reveal they’re dating during one of the group hangs. They’d crushed on each other on and off since middle school but never thought of pursuing it until Matt began training her.
And eventually…
Josh is found.
Scared, starving, human Josh Washington. Chris and Sam and contacted first by Bob and Melinda.
Josh has already been in recovery by the time they reach out and when the two are finally permitted to see them he’s trying to hide under the covers of his hospital bed, barely able to manage his apologizing and breaking down. They’re a mess of upset with him and overcome with the enormous relief that against all odds he’s alive and healing. It’ll be a long time before he can face the others., but for now he’s being visited by Sam and Chris almost daily, intoning once the rest of his recovery takes place at home.
Chris and Josh reconnect over John Wayne movies (both are hesitant to pop on a horror flick right away) and Josh is ashamed when Chris tells him how things fell apart with Ashley. Chris is surprised by how… not upset about it he is anymore. Upset that he wasn’t a great boyfriend, but not upset that they’re just friends now.
“Nahhh, come on, I’m sure you were a great boyfriend, Cochise. I mean… fuck, if we…”
Okay I talk a lot about all the Chrissam stuff Until Dawn should have kept.
But the other scene I don’t get why they didn’t keep was the one where Matt pops Jessica’s shoulder in. I don’t even know if it was filmed because I couldn’t recover the audio, only subtitles.
But he basically notices that her shoulder is dislocated from her fall, and then asks her about a sports team and while she’s thinking of an answer, he puts the shoulder back in, and she screams and he apologizes and tells her it’s going to feel better.
And I think this moment was actually really good characterization for Matt. Poor guy kinda spends a long chunk of the game getting painted as useless by Emily. So it’s kind of cool to see him help Jess using something he may understand because of his sports background. I can kind of imagine him seeing dislocations a lot from football games/practices. It’s sweet.

i am a firm firm FIRM lover of the idea that john's (very real) creative writing class only has a few extra students, and UNFORTUNATELY FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED (mostly john), ashley and josh are among them. taylor and ashley got along almost immediately - ashley was a little scared of taylor at first, but they got paired together for an assignment and just clicked. taylor tries to get ashley more out of her shell, ashley tries to get taylor MORE into a shell (slkdjfklsdjf), and they are absolutely a force to be reckoned with.
(taylor, alas, is not josh's biggest fan. rip.)
in all honesty, i've been trying to give myself more permission to be like. chill with crossover friendships like this the past few years aslkdjfkd i used to be a real stickler for canon and NOT crossing things over, but between my ghost hunting au and my hackett-fiddler family au, i'm really just. doing my best. to inflict all my crossover friendship hcs on passersby asldkfjsdkjf without rambling TOO much about them, some of the big ones are.......
bobby hackett - jack fiddler: they are inseparable, please don't try to separate them, please. bobby belongs in blackwood and jack belongs in the quarry, and just. i'm not well about them. sorry.
bobby hackett - jason kolchek: they met in bootcamp and bobby immediately clung to jason because he was older/reminded him of his brothers. jason was less thrilled about this arrangement...until he realized bobby was the kid in school you could pay two dollars to eat rocks. then things got interesting.
chris hartley - brad smith: look at them. LOOK AT THEM. you tell me they don't sit around painting figurines.
josh washington - conrad manofmedan: HORROR. HORROR AND PAIN. THEY ARE THE WORST. their families are both filthy stinking rich and they are not quiet about it. conrad's dad is a stockbroker who helps manage washington pictures, inc. they are. the worst. frenemies. eVERRRRR.
and i'm gonna go ahead and say it
jacob custos would have such a fuckin friend crush on mike munroe. it would be. embarrassing to see from afar. absolutely mortifying. but it's real. i know. i feel it in my heart.

Anyway this is kinda spoilers kinda not I’m kind of an open book to my detriment
And speaking and detrimental and all around things of the OOF.wav nature: sorry not all of these are friendships but. Most of them are positive connections in one form or another. 8’D and I have way less of a filter for yapping which is my biggest regret here.
First of all you very much are me a believer of Jack and Bobby hanging out. Like in my lore Bobby outright ends up going to live with Jack after the events of TQ and though he’s not sharp he mimics what he sees from Jack well enough to get really good at surviving and putting down monsters. Like to when Jack dies finally pass I think Bobby picks up the mantle (he just needs another person around to support and be the strategist because no matter how long he tries ti read stuff left behind it’s just… not his forte absorbing it. But I feel like in Bobby’s eyes it’s a good time because that’s his favorite person. Like ever. And in some level I think that’s (100%) Jack’s favorite person too. Connected more with Bobby than… that kind time he tried not going against the grain and had a family, yeah, that wasn’t the life for him.
RIP his daughter wanting his approval but at least Bizarre Yet Bonafide seems to be very successful with the uprise of supernatural activity.
Not friendship but like I feel like it’s a close enough crossover connection: Uncle Jason Kolchek and his nieces Sam Giddings and Laura Kearney. They would go hiking during the years when he was bumming around living with his sister and her man (Sam’s mom and dad, he caused preexisting friction to escalate even more). But he’s be teaching them to be safe, getting up early to go see deer before the parks flooded with joggers and other kids. They teach him more than he ever knew about the animals and he’s just so goddamn proud of them. He knows he’s no one’s favorite family member those days but… they love him and it’s enough.
Big cousin Laura Kearney basically acting like an older sister. They’d always talk about making the world better together. Sam with the environment, Laura with the animals in it. Even now anytime Sam has questions about the wellbeing of her German shepherd (“Kirby”) she goes to Laura. It saves a ton of money and sleepless nights. Sam and Laura confide in each other about how their respective traumas kind of inhibit their ability to pursue their dreams, Sam most of all. It’s great though because with school and Max and Sam with her own circus full of monkeys they kinda had a long bout of not talking.
When I did the math I think Erin was in Beth and Hannah’s age bracket? And I don’t think Erin would be apart of Weird Girl Club Coven, but I think Hannah and Erin would be such sweet friends but in that particular way where for some reason it never existed outside of school. Like you meet someone and you get along SO well but you never get around to exchanging numbers or handles online for whatever reason. Thinking they might meet later though —

Ashley and Abigail met on deviantart when Abi did fanart for a fic Ashlry wrote and Ashley write a really cool introspective of Abi’s favorite character. They always talked about doing a comic or an animated show together but they just had scatter brained RPs and PWPs going on but to them the ideas were perfect. Then one day they’re at an afterschool club, maybe art club and (bare with me) anime club take place in the library at the same time and one if then noticed their dA account open on the computer… spider man pointing meme. “YOU!!! Holy FREAKING CRAP IS THIS REAL?”
Abigail was way nicer to Hannah than Ashley. It’s not that Ashley had malicious feelings towards her but… Ashley doesn’t enjoy the amount of fluff that Hannah consumed like she breathes air. And Hannah’s crush on Mike, one of two people Ashley seems to just actually hate. She’s very much taken an attitude in her head of “ohhh the douchey hunky class prez? soooo original”……. In typing this I realize how hypocritical that makes her.
They got on the Crystal hype train before it fully became as commonplace as it is now. Abigail had always been into it and Ashley, afraid of ghosts and anything of the sort, really clung to protective crystals like turquoise and especially amethyst. She’s gave Kate that amethyst pendant before they fully grew apart.
Abigail, while not seeing the appeal herself, supported Hannah’s crush hesitatingly in the careful “don’t get your hopes up” way in much the way Sam does. She’s a little less cautious than Sam on account of now knowing that friend group dynamic (Abigail wants nothing to do with the larger group because they all around feel like a catastrophic mix of people and she already has that — her name is Emma Mountebank.)
Hannah is the biggest cheerleader for Abigail x cute boy next door foreign exchange stupid Nick Furcillo and of course Ashley x… wait, you like Chris? Hartley? Don’t you… well no that’s okay! Still supportive! … but really? (Abigail also fully knows.)
Ashley and Hannah both really like Nick. He’s sat with them a couple of times, gotten teased with threats of spells and for being so severely out of his depth with these kooky sorta spooky girls. He’s a sporty but he’s sweet and laid back, kinda like Matt, which is nice.
Ashley will never tell Josh because that’s just a fucking invitation for nightmares but she’s done the ouija board with both of them too. It was a Halloween tradition where after a day of partying or handing out candy they buckle down and try to commune with the dead. I can’t say anything more 🤐
I could stay on that forever but I think only two of those were interesting and I worry about wasting the time of someone else so enough pictures, on with the tour.
Jason has a rough view on the Hacketts who aren’t the kids. He empathizes with them, even (especially) Caleb, but… Travis especially is on his shit list. Laura and all. Travis is kind of just accepting of anything because when is he ever not on a shit list? … more on that in the comic.
Okay so I can’t go into this but Nurse Diane Kelly is connected to Jack Fiddler and that’s all I can say.
Sam and Kaitlyn date for a while. Kaitlyn isn’t a super romantically inclined person but she got HOOKED on Sam in that embarrassing giddy way you think you grow out of but never actually do. Lots of dates to the gun range (both just want to feel safe), gym dates, and hiking dates. San is always one step ahead and Kaitlyn… it drives her crazy. 😡 But also it drives her crazy. 🥴
Hey so the Jacob crushing on Mike thing… is also a little bit in here too. Like it definitely helps him sort himself out. In the end it evens out to a forged in flame admiration bond thing.
He was always Mike’s loudest cheerleader whenever the class president elections came up. Yelling and whooping from the crowd when he would give speeches. Got the team minus Matt to vote for him.
Matt and Mike became better friends through Jacob. Jacob doesn’t outright say he needs guidance but for awhile after TQ he’s shunned by everyone who isn’t Kaitlyn and he hates being alone and… Matt already liked him. They’re teammates. And Mike? Mike remembers the support. Matt is prickly with Mike at first because of course even with friends he’s here to steak the show and make everything about him and Jacob has puppy dog eyes for him… but they all kind of talk over too many watered down beers and end up influencing each other for the better.
Those are Jacob’s fuckin BROS right there.
I feel like in any other universe Dylan and Chris would make out and be in a fiercely nerdy gay relationship where they speak in such heavy jargon to one another that it creates an impenetrable force field of dweeb around them. And they shotgun each other.
As it stands Dylan ends up as one of Chris’ absolute best friends and similar to Mike and Jacob he helps Chris figure things out.
I had an indie animation studio concept made up of Ryan, Abi, Sam , Ashley, Josh, Chris to a small extent and a few others but we’ll have to see how that plays out.
Nick Kay as Ryan’s uncle is another fun one for me. Ryan I believe is canonically motherless, I think he and Sarah live with grandparents, and I think Nick would step up to take some of that burden off his parents. Ryan needs more support since he can’t talk to the Hacketts for a long time postcanon which he doesn’t handle well (it’s one of the only things that makes him emotional.)
Kaylee and Hannah. Hope-filled girls out through the wringer only to end up as monsters in the end.
I don’t… know anymore if Anthony’s hallucinated versions of the characters are going to exist. Originally it was a hard no but then that thing in Directive 2080 happened.
So… Clarice and Joey lived. They’re not human anymore but they’re alive. And there’s a support group within the support group for non humans.
Joey and Josh are constantly riffing with each other and making dick jokes (Josh even picks up some yo mama jokes). It helps Josh feel like himself again after literally not being himself for three years.
Meagan drops in from time to time. In her 50s I want to say. Write a whole autobiography centering on the loss of her humanity to a demon in her case. Possessions all work the same in NN, over time you physically change.
Hannah briefly gets a crush on Clary e. Like MikeJacob and ChrisDylan it helps her figure some things out. Clarice is also a super fun nerd with a fun little hyper fixation.
Dylan and Clarice as MLM WLW physics friends is a space I REALLY want to play in.
Ashley got Kate into protective charms like crystals but Kate got Ashley into true crime. When their parents weren’t watching Kate would marathon forensic files, cold case files, snapped, and all those gens with her. Ashley ends up taking Architects of Murder as a comfort show.
I don’t know what sport Jamie played in high school but I feel in my bones that she was in and out of it with team sports enough to enjoy playing with her younger half either Matt. They dunk on each other but… Matt is way closer to her and her father Wilson than he is either of his parents. Affection comes in the form of headlocks and roughhousing and snark from Jamie but Matt’s sweet and cool even if she also thinks he’s a doofus with dorky secret interests.
Christine Gordon is Emma Mountebanks mom and while she has many kids that she all loves Emma is her STAR. Emma the little charmer who she’s play elaborate make believe games with when she was little and using her mom’s clothes for dress up. Christine absolutely taught Emma the “herself but louder” philosophy that Emma has with acting and hamming herself up. Mr Mountebank is a no one at the moment.
Linda Castle and Bob Washington are close personal friends. They bind iced the strange lives they’ve lead and the fact Charles Lonnit won’t stop writing both of them in the hopes they’ll check out his screenplay.

I remembered you write that John LH had a thing for Ash’s single mom. Well I… misremembered. That it was Anthony. I don’t know how that happened but… girls, meet your new Step Dad. He has PTSD just like you! Again this was a total accident but I got really attached to him with Veronica Wilder. I still think John would hit on her.
Beth and Kaitlyn would get along famously I think. They have a bitey but slinky attitude, along with San they’re often the only one with functional brain cells in the room, and I feel like Kaitlyn’s unhinged weirdness (that no one talks about, why is the most normal character in that game Abigail?) would make Beth feel right at home.
Salim teaches at the school everyone attended. He has a literature class where he sneaks middle eastern literature into the curriculum. He also has a small potted garden in his class that he’ll allow people to pick from. A bunch of folks crush on him. Ashley isn’t… not one of them but mainly she’s a teachers pet.
Jess, Emily, and Emma. How has it taken me this long? Emma and Jess have made out at parties and are regularly touchy to degree that makes me clutch my pearls! Yet for a long time Jess just thinks that’s “just girly tingz” and not bisexuality. Emma will, say it with me, help her figure it out.
Emily gets prickly about them (because she’s low key into both of them and it’s been ruining her life since Star became close besties with Jess in the fifth grade where they talked about being a model-designed dream team and all the intimacy that comes with applying lipstick to your best gal pal’s—anyway). Emily sees Emma and Jess as functionally the same person until she gets to know her better when they end up in the same district in Cali for college.
I want to spoil the rise and the fall here so badly but Emily acting a certain type of way makes Emma reflect in how she made Abi feel That Night and it’s a soul shattering wake up call.
Rachel will teach a-class-for-climbing that is attended by Sam, Chris, and Kaitlyn at the very least. Might have MikeJacobMatt hop aboard too. Rachel is put off by Mike and Jacob for while not affectionate, she does have a soft spot for the others. Sam especially. How are you related to Dipshit Jason? You’re a delight.

Sam and Ryan. Sam can befriend literally anyone. She’s sanctimonious and thinks she’s more moral than she is, while still being the most moral anyway. But she’s calm. When things get overwhelming in the group they seek each other out just to have a small feeble sanctuary of quiet. Together they do what the group is meant to. They talk and they heal. Both are attached to manor families ruined by lies and the arrival of monsters and now they feel like they’ve uprooted from their safety nets. They’re not even best friends but Sam will listen to his podcast while she draws and he’ll try and follow along and while everyone else is yelling, crying, fighting, ps picking they’re just working through their issues in relative silence. Dan reminds him a little if Abi and Abi is the only one he has any interest in remaining in contact with.
Nick and Matt got me get along in that AshAbi way. They’re introverted sweetheart jocks who get absolutely stupid over their crushes (“all DAY” meet “nature doing its thang”).
Emma and Matt. Theater kids of the should’ve would’ve could’ve variety. I think she takes him under her wing.
Ashley internalizes resentment for Emma. I have a long post somewhere but she feels severe friendship jealousy towards her and has a “snowflake vs other girl” complex with her… because apparently learning not to judge Jessica at a glance didn’t stick and she thinks Emma is the fakest thing in the world.
Which is ironically a big “look in the mirror” moment for Ashley later. Emma is herself but louder but does anyone actually know the resentful judgemental disloyal person you are? Or do they only the shy weird girl archetype you use as a shield to avoid people getting close enough to see?
