Found this. I don’t have the time to listen to the whole thing right now, but I listened to a few parts. Even though this is mostly centered around Taiwan’s music scene, it raises some very interesting points.

How to start a fire
I love Lisa Lutz’s writing. It’s beautiful and as I read, I have the feeling that not one sentence is wasted. Each sentence, each phrase propels the narrative in some way. There were many memorable sentences and dialogues.
“Being alone was easy; emotions could be regulated like operating a crane. Once you add someone else to the mix, you hand over some of the controls.”
While this book might have been quite a challenge to read as it goes back and forth through time and space, it only adds on to the experience. I love linking parts of the story to form the big picture as I progressed through the book. Putting the story together myself was really satisfying and adds an extra dimension to the story unlike how the normal uni-directional story-telling works. It’s actually the first time I completed a book that jumps around the time periods so much. It used to be quite a turn off for me but I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I think I wouldn’t mind trying out books with a similar non-linear narrative.
All three main characters were so different and unique in their own way. I like that the book explored their thoughts and feelings. I could relate more to Kate but I really sympathize with Anna. George was a little lacking for me but I felt that I learnt a lot more about both Kate and Anna through her. Collin was also one of my favourite characters in the book; he was like Anna’s support or at least he did his best to help her.
The cover is amazing too.
I love the emphasis of the orchestra for their upcoming album.
I’m okay with life being short, but I don’t like how it’s so narrow
