A day of rebirth. I changed my Facebook relationship status to *Single* for the first time ever. Feels weird and trivial but also significant?
I've disappeared for years. Maybe I want to be found.

If you're feeling donation-y this season, this organization is near and dear to my heart. They partner with an urban farm that's part of a local restorative justice organization to source fresh veggies, then once a month volunteers roll a metric shittonne of burritos and Critical Mass cyclists and deliver them to parts of Chicago where there is the most need.

Another great thing? Each burrito costs about $1, all in, so even a small donation is measurably impactful.

Some lowdown, lonesome, mother humpin' day
Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say "I love you" right out loud
Never before in my life have I called for mass protests...But. I. Am. Now.
