26″ 1980s ladies Peugeot singlespeed. Special build for a woman friend of mine. She wanted is classic and singlespeed but also being practicle, of course. So I re-used the old chainguard and added new super sleek fenders made by Curana. Along with the original saddle, handlebar and bell, combined with a new crankset, pedals, bracket and tyres, this one is up for some nice kilometers around the city of Zwolle.
After years of aging, it is finally finished and ready to be shown: VUW06. The Peugeot Course. Totally rebuild with new bracket, handlebar, saddle, grips, brakes and levers, tyres, chain and with classic sporty wheels. But with al this new stuff, the original paint, the original stem. Even the original outer chainring and crankset. All Peugeot-marked and still going strong after over 35 years. The bike is now cruising around the city of Groningen with his new and very proud owner. And so am I.

VUW01. The Miyata 750 SR converted to singlespeed
My first singlespeed bike project, somewhere in 2011. Still have this frame and it's to be the base for a new project this fall.

VUW04 - finished
Here is the result! The old Peugeot Aubisque is turned into a singlespeed, without losing it's classic 80's look.
No gears anymore. Different wheels with high rims. New saddle, steer, brake levers and grips. All other re-used parts are cleaned, checked and greased.
It's for sale. Just 250 euro's and is yours, including a gear set-up of your choice.
