This crazy smashed looking old boot is being sold as a single family house. It's on Texada Island, British Columbia, Canada. Asking $250k.

IS it even a shoe?

They're calling it a house, but it's nothing but a 1,000sqft shell. It looks a someone dug a trench in here. There are no windows, no plumbing, nothing.

I would imagine that the walls would need redoing. According to the listing, the owner never finished it. (Ya think?)

Is this some sort of electric? Or maybe it's water? It doesn't have a bathroom, but it has a professionally installed septic system and municipal water.

The land is approx. 1/2 an acre and beach access is steps away.

Former Eden Culture Center (Kulturní dům Eden), opened in 1987, designed by Hana and Dalibor Pešek. Closed in 2002, afterwards partially rented. Since 2023, awaits demolition due to its poor condition and economic unprofitability.
