I finally caved and bought the Pix. I’ve been loving it so far, but unfortunately it had microscratches on the screen straight out of the box. The build quality of Tamas has been steadily declining from what I’ve observed, unfortunately :[
As much as I would love a Connections rerelease, I can only hope that they wouldn’t be littered with sound and screen issues like the Tamagotchi Originals are.
The Tamagotchi fixation is back, so I am back. Rejoice

Does anyone…still own a Tamagotchi P’s…? I’m convinced they were simply a fever dream.
To this day I still don’t understand why they haven’t rereleased the Connections. Most of the original Tamagotchi rereleases seem to have pretty bad quality. (I’ve bought two, one has major audio issues and the other has a very dim screen.)
The Connections had…insanely good production quality? No lag, responsive buttons, and a ton of minigames and characters. I think they would sell very well if they rereleased them.
Adding onto this, I think the collaboration Tamagotchis (Kingdom Hearts, Hello Kitty, etc.) should be based on the Connections rather than the Nanos. That would be a bit more interesting! (And definitely not because Nanos are somehow too small for my tiny hands.)

Decided I should (finally) make a Tama blog after all this time. Started up the ol’ Entama again. Here’s to hoping I can actually raise it to adulthood this time.
