hey listen i dont mean to judge (ok i do) but why would you post like explicitly russian characters, characters from russian media and characters inspired by russia? and i can see that you also are somewhat upset at ppl bringing up soviet union and stuff at your posts, so why that? idfk
like idfk as a ukrainian i would probably not engage with blogs that mention russians that often im sorry
I understand where you’re coming from, and if you have anything from Ukrainian media you would like to see, please feel free to put something like that in the askbox!
A lot of Russian media is a part of Ukrainian life at least somewhat, and it is important to me to let Ukrainians see themselves in media that is familiar to them. A lot of my homemade posts are actually suggested by my wonderful Ukrainian girlfriend, and if these headcanons are important to her then surely they can be important to somebody else!
Plus, just because a media is Russian doesnt mean every character in that media is also Russian, I mean, there are a lot of Ukrainians that live in Russia, its not super far fetched to suggest that a couple characters from a Russian media could be Ukrainian.
