i’ll update this as i see fit or feel the need to or whatever
1. no characters from stuff that’s explicitly nsfw
2. no characters that are like n*zis or anything
3. no real life people. no youtubers, no band members, no actors, etc. nothing live action, either, it’s... a lot harder for me to edit and i will not use fanart
3.5. “no real life people” also applies to vtubers or like... anyone who uses some kind of “avatar” to represent themselves
4. i don’t have any comprehensive lists of things i won’t edit. i can say that, off the top of my head, homestuck, south park, hetalia, hazbin hotel (or anything by vivziepop, really), attack on titan, friday night funkin, and omori are all no gos.
5. sometimes requests get deleted if i can’t find a suitable image for it (meaning images that are a good size for it) or if i just can’t find an image to use at all (no transparents, nothing that i can easily edit the background out of, or if there’s just no official art of the character in question)
6. please put the series name in your message! (yes, even if you know i'm into whatever it is, it’s just so there’s no confusion and so i know 100% you mean the character i’d know) i don’t know everything, and i don’t want to accidentally do the wrong character or something because i just don’t know who they are and relied on the first google result to be accurate
7. don’t send me the same request repeatedly. i do these edits myself, and i don’t go through the inbox in order. i do the easiest requests first, usually, and tackle ones that require more editing when i have the energy. if something gets deleted, then it’s either from something i’m uncomfortable doing, it breaks the rules, or as earlier stated i can’t find a good image to use. either way, asking again will not increase the odds of it getting done and i’m more likely to just delete both requests and not do it
8. this is more a request from me than anything but i’ve seen people tag my posts as “political” at times and i just wanna say, please don’t? it’s weird. this blog is run by a trans person, it’s not political commentary for me, it’s just my life.
9. if you’re going to complain about what i’m doing i want you to know i could not give less of a fuck about your opinion and will immediately discard it. thanks in advance
10. the ask box might close sometimes. i’ll try to post when i do it, but if it closes, it’s just so i can work through my backlog of requests. be patient and it’ll open again soon enough. if i DON’T post about it, you can check the inbox status by looking at the blog itself (or. u know, just seeing that it’s closed and you can’t send asks)
11. like i mentioned, this blog’s run by a single person. i WILL go inactive at times as i get busy. bear with me, i’m running this blog for free and it takes a bit more effort than you’d expect
12. if you want to repost or use my edits for your own stuff, you can provided you give credit to me. some edits take a while to do because there’s more editing involved than you’d think AND the trans flag in almost all these edits is my own personal trans flag
