It’s Almost Halloween! 👻🎃🧛 (Blog Update)

Today is October 1st, so you know what that means!

It’s an exciting time here at @pathetic-at-the-disco! Not only are we still dying from Ryan’s return to the stage with Z Berg last night, but we also have a very fun October planned for the blog. 🎃

In honor of our (and arguably Ryan’s!) favorite holiday, we’re going to celebrate Halloween all month long. Over the course of the next thirty-one days, prepare for the following:

1. 31 days of Halloween-themed pictures for our Many Faces of Ryan Ross series! For all of October, each daily photo will be spooky, cursed, and/or feature Ryan in costume. We will also be posting them at a more ~sPoOky~ time of day, AKA 8pm EST, for the duration of the series. 🧛

2. Halloween-themed memes and Google translations! ☠️

3. A masterpost about the mysterious production of “It’s Almost Halloween”! Who directed it? Who came up with the costumes? Where did they get the props? All will be answered in due time! 💀

my favorite Millennial Thing™ is when a group of us are standing around and talking and someone asks a question that no one knows the answer to and suddenly it’s a race to get out your phone and google it and be the first to know, and then someone starts reading the Wikipedia article about the thing aloud to everyone else, and what started as a casual conversation is now A Learning Opportunity and we all walk away a little more knowledgeable about a random topic

Like, Boomers hate when we do that, but I think it’s one of the best things about us.

So long as we have internet or a cell signal, all of the world’s collective knowledge is at our fingertips, and damned if we aren’t going to use it.

I pray for all the wicked people doing wicked things and for all the good people doing good things every day.

I pray that my family stays safe while I’m on the road trying to share an incomparable experience with a million different friends.

I pray, but not to any one specifically. More to myself, pleading to stay positive and loving and open-minded.

I meditate on what concerns me. The things I enjoy. The changes I want to see in the world. The people who lift me up. The people who bring me down.

I pray.
