                        the murderer laughed,  giving a little wink.  she had to admit,  it was really nice to have somebody who liked her energy instead of being scared of it!  well …  she knew that she was probably scary for other reasons.  but she could live with that!

                                            “ well,  it ain’t just my energy that makes me exciting,  you know!  i’ve got some nice  HOBBIES  that make me a lot different from anyone else that goes here,  and i gotta say,  it makes everyone else look pretty  lame … ”

        Her laugh was entertaining, even if it threw off Usami’s audio sensors for a few moments after. She’d have to adjust her levels when they interacted, but it warmed her circuits to see someone so willing to actually talk to her, especially about themselves! Students often held her at arms’ length and guarded their personal information, seeing her as a nuisance akin to child services checking up on suspects. It made data acquisition a pain.

        “Oh? A lot different, huh? That sounds fun! What do you like to do?”

   “Usamicchi?!”

   If not for her calling out and physically struggling the shaman would have kept on walking, absorbed in whatever he could see within his crystal ball. Something had just started to become clear to him - and he would be lying if he said he wasn’t frustrated for being interrupted - but someone needed his help and he would be damned if he did not give her assistance.

   Plus all the Gods in existence would probably smite him if he ignored her.

   After he hurriedly pocketed the orb in his pants he rushed over to her hanging frame, a look of panic on his face as his brain struggled to figure out, logically, how he should help this damsel-bot in distress. Obviously it was expected that he had to lift her down, but how? By the waist, or under the arms? Using his shoulders to push her up from under her legs, or get beneath her feet like a stool? Hagakure’s stance clearly showed how slow he was at processing his thoughts, as he was just standing there with his arms waving around aimlessly with no location in mind.

   “Haaaah… how did you get up there?! Did some kids, like, do this to ya?!”

   He was trying to buy time until he became a man with a plan.

    He didn’t exactly spring into action, but Yasuhiro wasn’t known for his quick wit and survival instincts. Not that he was stupid by any means! He probably just had other things on his mind, some kind of alternate reality full of auras and spirits that clogged up his brain. At least that’s what Usami figured; She wanted to see the best in her fellow students. 

    “Ah, yes... it took a couple of them, I’m heavier than I look!” She giggled nervously, “Oh, it’s not proper for a lady to talk about her weight... uwah, how embarrassing! This position isn’t befitting of a helper at all!”

                        well,  she relaxed almost as soon as she’d tensed!  syo had a feeling that there was more to whatever the robot wanted to say,  but she was perfectly okay with letting it go.  she might have been crazy,  but she sure wasn’t rude!

                                       “ huh,  how did you know!  it  CAN  get pretty lonely,  being one of the only exciting people around! ”

                        her fingers link together,  hands going to rest under her chin as her head tilts.

             Thank God. Thank God and Robot Jesus and Robot Buddha and every other creator that robots were supposed to worship. She’d live to see another day.

             “Huhuhu! It’s my function!” she chimed, raising a jointed finger to tap on her temple. “You definitely are pretty exciting. Some people can be put off by that kind of energy, but I think it can be fun. School can be so hard on some students, sucks the life and personality right out of them...”

Loading  —  The voice doesn’t catch him off guard ( Just one of the individuals he could allow his guard to drop around. ) Mamoru ALIFE wasn’t one to usually bother with such things like, smile or act happy. But around Usami, it just happened ( It was all from within, even if coding, but he adored his sisters. )

_ Hey now. _A smile spreads upon his features ( even if the smile looked awkward on him ) , as he tilts to the side, away from looking at the slowly descending sun, to see her within his line of vision. _You know what this is all for. Besides. You don’t gotta worry about me. I’d rather you saved that for the students._ 

          While Usami was programmed to be highly emotional as part of her designated tasks, ALIFE was nearly the opposite with all of his stoicism and authority, and it always tickled her binary to see him crack a smile. She nearly tripped in the sand in her approach as she threw her arms around his waist, wrangling him into a squeeze with a melodic giggle.

          “My compassion is limitless! It’s in my coooooode!” She sang.

                             aaand just like that,  the grin disappears from her face,  a rare sight if there ever was one as she squints at monomi.  annoyance  is more clear than malice though  –  she doesn’t like people picking on her for her various issues!  it’s not exactly her fault that she exists,  after all!

                                          “ someone that’s  what? ”

              Oh god, she was even scarier when she wasn’t smiling. How was that possible?! She’d better come up with something good, or her limbs would probably end up scattered across campus.

             Usami did legitimately want to get to know everyone she came across, no matter how intimidating they were. Her interest was genuine, even if it was part of her programming.

                    “Someone that’s... probably prone to feeling a bit isolated, you know?”
