As a person who relies on lip-reading more often than not, I think this is so important. Every person, hearing or deaf, should experience and appreciate the beauty and power of human connection, whether you see it, feel it, or hear it.

Okay for anyone who may have heard of the USDWNT winning the World Cup recently (how could you not?) this helped me. Think of all the things going on during a soccer, everything that you hear. These women have so much going around them and they still play a game of soccer like it’s simple. And it’s not. Soccer involved a lot of communication. This video shows just how hard it actually is. You may not realized how difficult this could be. But this makes these women even more badass. Thanks for sharing this! A big part of our job as USDWNT players is to bring awareness to the problems that the deaf and hard of hearing face on a daily basis. Lip reading isn’t as easy as it looks and this video does an excellent job showing why this is so. Check it out kids!
