Last year I got a 35mm lens, did a spontaneous shoot with the immensely talented artist, Sara Bokhari who is also a badmaash gangster. I think these are good photographs and should have been shared a year ago but anyway, here we are. I’ll try to post almost regularly. For the one I love. When was the last time I drew something? Ten years ago? More? Yes to all of the above but much like everything else in life, if you really want to do it, you just might pull it off. I didn’t expect to finish this drawing, let alone paint it as well. I imagined I would keep visualising the final form in its most perfect iteration for a few more months and then drop the idea of trying because why bother pursuing what the mind has concluded already. Dreamers are good at dreaming up things but executing them is a whole other thing. I actually did not lose interest for once and did it in a day or two as opposed to the hundreds of ideas still saved as notes or reminders in email form. A recent development was also a trigger that pushed me to do this, it reminded me that life is short and can be gone in moments.
