I’ve been catching up with the second season of Fruits Basket and I got hit SO HARD in the feels by the second ending song I just had to draw this. I really loved the original anime/manga when I was a kid so now that it’s being fully animated I’m feeling a combination of both nostalgia AND pain

MY OG POV: A ❤️ triangle - Ft. Borusara+ Momoshiki

A ❤️ Triangle - but where Momoshiki is excited to claim Boruto as his vessel; only his plan to be spoilt by none other than Sarada. He thinks it will be easy to break his self resilience as he is alone now- but can't do so because:

*Boruto is in love with Sarada

*He has promised her he will come back.

* Sarada ain't leaving Boruto alone - often reminding him of who he is( for of course - she loves him too )

But here's a catch: Boruto and Sarada are too stubborn to confess their feelings. And

now Momoshiki - who has been seeing the sexual tension brewing between the two since what seems like ages , is confused whether his headaches are because of the undaunted fearless Uchiha spoiling his plans- or SEEING THE TWO LOVEBIRDS STRUGGLING TO HIDE THEIR FEELINGS AMIDST THEIR RAGING HORMONES

MY OG BORUSARA HEAD CANON:

The Immortal Boruto.

Boruto never became a 100 % Ootusiki. He has superpowers but he doesn't use it. He has also retained all his past memories.

One downside of it is that he is now an immortal being.

He has to leave his original universe( Shinobi World) because it was destroyed.

He lost all his dreams and aspirations when he lost his lover Uchiha Sarada in the Last Shinobi War.

He has travelled through different timelines and alternative universes for thousands of years. He has witnessed many things and important events.

He has met the reincarnation of his deceased friends and family many times in his existence- in different timelines. But he often just observes them from a distance.

He has promised himself that he will forgive Kara and Kawaki and try to forget all that has happened and all the people he has lost.

But he cannot forget one person how much he tries- Uchiha Sarada, the love of his life

He often ends up meeting her reincarnation.

They both meet by fate, fall in love and then he has to let her go because he cannot be with her.

She has no memory of her past lives. But she regains all her past memories once she sees his face. That's why he tries to not meet her in person ( but fails miserably)
