First off, I hope, since spring break is only weeks away, you have booked your flight if needed, and hotel! Popular spring break locations run out of lodging FAST.
If you are road tripping with a group of people and splitting expenses such as gas, make sure to save all receipts. Although you are traveling with your friends, small discrepancies over money can cause tension or hard feelings. To prevent this, form an agreement before leaving on the trip regarding how things will be paid for, and save all receipts.
Identification. Whether you are traveling abroad our staying within your home country, make copies of all your identifications and important account information and create a storage folder for this information it in your e-mail. This includes any tickets, credit cards, and bank information. That way if any of these things get lost or stolen, you still have access to it your information. Also, split up these items, credit card, cash, etc., into different pockets and bags when traveling. This will prevent being easily robbed of all your cash.
Alright- now for the packing essentials!
90% of college students go somewhere warm for spring break, and will need to pack the following:
6. Comfortable clothes for the travel home
9. Personal Hygiene Products
Make sure to check the weather forecast a few days before you leave and pack accordingly! To prevent your suitcase from turning to a nightmare, use cardboard pieces to separate different categories of clothing and personal items. Also, think chronologically, placing the items to be worn first on the top, and roll clothing. Rolling clothing instead of folding will help reduce wrinkles. There might be multiple individuals sharing a hotel room, which can get messy! On spring break, the last thing you want to do is spend your time searching through heaps of clothing, and then having to clean up the mess. Try and stay organized!
· Avoid packing jewelry, it can be stolen very easily
· Do Not put film in your checked baggage, the screening equipment will damage it.
