I am taking a break from running polls, and will be back with a new tournament at some point in July! I'll still use this account on occasion though, so stay tuned!

I don't mean to bother you, but I've been trying to sort out my own poll blog recently so do you have any tips on creating the brackets?

I randomly generated my matchups, which is not what I recommend. If you search around, people have made posts on how toseed tournaments.

TLOZ Side Character Showdown

with totk being out for a month, i thought itd be fun to do a side character tournament for the legend of zelda series! the poll is below, but i ask that you please view the ground rules prior to submitting! thank you!!

1.) side characters will be defined as any non-triforce trio (as in link, zelda, and ganon(dorf) ) characters with dialogue and a specific name to designate them. enemy types or nameless characters (i.e. royal guardsmen from OoT) will not be included.

2.) side characters have to be from mainline games only, and no fan projects either. sorry CDI, hyrule warriors, linked universe, akira himekawa, cadence of hyrule, tingle spinoff, age of calamity, link's crossbow training, etc fans!

3.) characters will preferably have at least 3 submissions before being counted as contenders. the more a character is submitted, the more likely they are to make the bracket!

4.) if youre unsure if your character counts, either send an ask or submit anyways. i will go ahead and say that characters like ravio, anju, hilda, vaati, twinrova, farore, sonia, princess styla, cherry, master kohga, demise, and cotera count, while the heroes shade, OoT's great fairy, epona, general yiga members, bottle lady, and farosh do not.

the poll will (hopefully!) have 64 characters, and we will start with 4 rounds consisting of 16 characters each.

I'm your host, the wormguy WORIVRST, with a splendiferous competitor bracket thing for you and your lads!

Since this is a personal blog I'm holding it from, I'll add appropriate tags to everything.

Ready? Here's the rules.

Don't be an arse. Basic standards, it's not real and you'll forget about it two days after it's done. Treat this as you would a normal blog.

Don't submit weirdo OCs. As much as you might love your little guys, people like pedos/rapists etc. aren't allowed in. I don't care about their plot relevance, this is a silly guy competition.

Be reasonable with how many you submit. I know your funny guys are funny guys, but there can be too many funny guys. If you want a large group, use one form. Ten or so forms are too many.

Direct media OCs are not allowed! I'm so dearly sorry, but it would do too much on popularity. I too wish to submit my lads one day, but not here. If they have established relations with canon characters like that, they cannot participate. Background or unique blorbos can, though.

More of a suggestion, but reblog please? This won't flap its wings if there aren't enough feathers.

Ooookay, that should be all to it. Heed thy warnings, and submit as many as you'd like within reason. I'll be accepting everyone. Currently, no deadline, although it depends how heavy the flow is.
