"Good, you seem familiar with this place." Uta appeared rather suddenly before the stranger, his remark made upon a short-lived gaze on him. "I need help finding hum-- I mean, food. Do you know where they keep it?" If he didn't, Uta could always feed on him instead, and that was always a pleasant thought. A win-win situation for him, too.

Uta woke up disorientated and confused, which puzzled him because the ghoul didn't remember going to sleep in the first place. Apparently, and for the first time, waking up came with rather unpleasant side effects, such as a shrill pain in his head and a new, unfamiliar room. Oh-- not to forget the mark circling his wrist. He pondered the new mark amongst his other, more familiar ones, realizing that this was one of the least of his problems as the speakers crackled.

Ever one to adapt quickly, Uta listens and processes the information offered to him by the unknown voice, voicing none of his own opinions during the speech. It explained the emotions that he could feel but seemed strangely detached from himself, and the latest addition to his collection of tattoos. There was nothing he could do about it, if what the voice said was true. Which, based on his situation, he had no choice but to believe it as so.

As the voice ended it's speech with another crackling sound, the first thought that entered Uta's mind was to look for his partner. Speaking of which-- yes, he could certainly feel the tugging described, rather inadequately, by the hollow voice. A soft sigh left his lips as the ghoul left the room and followed his instincts (quite literally) he soon stumbled upon an unfamiliar room, with an even less familiar female within it.

"Would I be right to assume that you're my partner?"

"Your face.. It looks like a perfect design for a mask." He says, pulling out the sketchbook he'd earlier placed on the table. "Do you mind sitting still while I sketch you?" The question was preceded by sounds of pencil on paper, clearly showing that the ghoul didn't really want an answer to his question. "You can talk, of course."

"Mm.. You smell human. Ah, don't worry, I'm not going to harm you." Unreservedly, the ghoul took a sniff of the stranger. Uta didn't think anyone here would willingly let him eat them, which meant.. he'd have to look for a separate food source. "Do you think they have human meat in the kitchen?" If taken negatively, he could always pass it off as a joke. ...Right?
