kay, so i had an ask about the whole situation comic wise with alex, jesus and wes, and here’s how i’m going to be playing it on here, cus ya’know. this will effectively crossover to all verses,because 1) we don’t know if alex is getting introduced & 2) i want something a little more personal to me.

there was never anything serious with paul and alex. when it’s the end of the world, the weakest kind of people attach to anyone that shows them affection. now, i’m not saying that alex is weak, but there’s something that made him need to have someone close. the loss of his younger brother caused a lot of lasting effects, separation anxiety being one. so when jesus was constantly in the medical area, just to see how he was and see if he could give any help -- it was just something that he’d get attached. 

but when he left and stayed in alexandria (shortly after glenn’s death), he thought that he wasn’t coming back, so found himself going to the next closest thing. which is why, him finding out that jesus cared was a little bit off putting. not off putting in the sense that he didn’t like it, off putting in the sense that he didn’t know what to do and who to try and keep around to make himself happy.
