hi. i was wondering if you use any particular lighting and/or shader defaults to create such a nice warm glow in your photos. they’re really pretty.

i use the beta-looking tweaks shared by boringbones (not affiliated) + cinema secrets lighting mod.

now, i also tend to use the nixedsims invisible lights if there are no lamps in the set or the lighting is just weird at all; i only use the ceiling ones, and well, mostly the soft/yellow option. the walls one can come useful if the wall is not visible at the preview tough.

does anyone has ever shared this piece of sims 1 cc-making here ?? it seems that it makes sprites, alphas and z-buffer things for you automatically from a 3d mesh in blender..

mixiate on github has a blender addon that can replace .iff sprites automatically using high quality renders with depth maps. it has his own wiki with steps on how to install and use it.

also has a 3D model and animation importer/exporter
