Despite our differences and a few bad apples, simblr, at its core, is a community. Simblreen celebrates this community and our shared love of the spooky and serves as a tribute to our creativity, imagination, and generosity.
There are terrible things happening in the world (maybe in your own personal lives too) and that can make it hard to enjoy things fully. During these times, a supportive community can make all the difference.
Once a year, we have the opportunity to give back to that community, whether by creating something (like stories, edits, custom content, Sims, builds, lookbooks, CAS challenges...) or by appreciating what others contribute (through sending asks, expressing gratitude, replying to posts, or reblogging them).
Simblreen also provides a unique chance for everyone to connect over a common interest, even for those who might usually feel too shy or anxious to interact. With trick-or-treat asks, there’s a clear script to follow, making it easier for some to muster their courage, and reach out to one another.
Over the years, Simblreen has evolved. We now have treasure hunts, riddles, interactive games, stories, and much more! Yet at its core, it remains about everyone participating together.
As the event approaches, we want to remind you to show love and support for one another. It’s not just about posting custom content, collecting, or consuming custom content with a download link. While we appreciate the amazing creations, that’s not all there is to it. Take the time to reblog posts you love, like them, and send a thank you or a compliment! Uplift everyone’s amazing art and creativity and take the time to appreciate what's been made and given by others.
Whether you’re offering, receiving, or doing both during this event, know that you are an essential part of simblr and an even more important part of simblreen.
