Aaron rly is so versatile like he looks different in every role and you can’t find any similarities between his characters.. I need him to play more himbos bc he nailed it as Tom Ryder
the fact that Colt knew Tom before he introduced him to Gail and Tom just being a lesser known actor 🥹
I wanna know more abt how Tom and Colt’s relationship changed over the years.. and ik Tom was just guilt tripping Colt during that whole interrogation scene and being like “I put your name in the contract, I did that for you!” but part of him did want Colt to be by his side
Alright so as we know Tom is super insecure because he just feels a lot of pressure to look perfect and be perfect so if somebody who wasn’t famous like a fan or whoever was cutting Tom down about his body on social media and Tom got into unhealthy habits just giving up on all meals and passing on any food and he didn’t know what to do because even with him loosing lots of weight (which he didn’t need to do to begin with ) what would Parker do since Tom just can’t stop himself
Combining this ask with another similar one: "If Tom has a body part of him that he dislikes (most probably, because we all have one) or something about himself that he’s not comfortable with, but then Parker would show love and appreciation for it, I think he’d cry"

Firstly, I totally love that you guys are on the same page thinking about Tom Ryder. He is so socially anxious coded that he would absolutely be a victim to whatever unhealthy body trends are passing around the internet. He's worked so hard to get where he is, but Tom is aware enough to realize that a lot of his roles have been based on his good looks/physique. Having people like Gail in his life who, through the guise of pretending to care, is always chirping about how he should switch diets for an upcoming role or get a new trainer so that he can compete with other workhorses in the industry is devastating to his mental health.
But he's Tom Ryder, right? So, he pushes on. Gets a new trainer, works out twice a day, tries the Hard 45 workout/diet trend just to feel better about himself. It's hard to see for most people since he spends so much time peacocking in the mirror or talking about how handsome he thinks he is, but that's all a way for him to convince himself that he is handsome. Obviously he knows this, but knowing and believing don't always go hand in hand.
Accepting this is one of Parker's biggest hurdles in their relationship because to her eyes he is literally perfect. He's gorgeous, stunning, breathtaking every time she looks at him that understanding the negative thoughts swirling in his head is hard for her to do. Once she does notice his eating habits or catches wind of whatever crash diet he's doing (he makes one mention of Ozempic and she loses her mind) Parker does everything she can to get his mind in a better place.
She convinces him to hand off his social media page to a paid professional so he's not obsessing over it, turning off comments, and blocking those harmfully vapid trashy websites that just want to sell articles with splashy headlines on his laptop. She books some cooking classes so they can make dinner time fun again as they learn how to broil chicken together and make ceasar dressing from scratch. She joins him for morning yoga on the one condition that he spends the hour afterwards just relaxing with her; reading, watching tv, suntanning, etc.
And for once Tom doesn't realize what she's doing until months later when he mentions offhandedly that he's hungry and she drags him to the kitchen at one in the morning to cook chocolate chip pancakes which he eats without even second guessing because not only does it taste good but everything with her is just better. That's when he also realizes how much his mental health has improved since they started dating.
Of course, she goes a little over the top, whistling whenever he walks by, pretending to be a fan asking for his autograph whenever a tabloid photo of him shirtless comes out, and sending him ugly selfies whenever he's away so to prove that looking perfect doesn't matter in the least to her.
It helps that Colt is around, sharing wheatgrass smoothies and workout routines while also enjoying his life. It's the first time that Tom actually admires the stunt double for something, and a few months into the relationship the boys start replacing one gym workout to do something fun like surfing or mountain biking with the rest of Colt's friends.
And when they get married, it's not a big public affair, but a small private wedding where Tom is able to enjoy cutting the cake with his new wife without worrying about anything but her.
And yes he does cry when she walks down the aisle.

and I think Tom does like Jody and respect her. he also did have some sort of attachment to Colt bc he was reluctant to shoot him in the end
him trying to help Jody (even tho I doubt he knows how to help anyone) was silly and sweet.. he is very much selfish and has issues but he’s still likable to me 💔 and being played by Aaron also helps a lot lol
