Me and that word don’t have the best relationship. “ she explained. “Well, as of tonight you will no longer need to push it aside. Valentina blushed a bit before smiling, “Thank you and don’t worry all I have is stamina. I spend all day doing activities I’m sure a little bumping and grinding in bed will be nothing.” She nodded, “I hope so too. Like I said, it isn’t for everyone but we’re still young, no need to rush it just let it all happen in its own time.” The brunette laughed and nodded, “Great then, i think I should change, get into something a little more....presentable and then I’ll meet you there.”

‘Of course I have! In fact, I would go as far to say that it’s one of my favourite movies!’ Riley expressed with a friendly smile. 'No, I’ve flown a few times before I just get quite anxious. I’m one of those people that watch a ton of documentaries on plane crashes and then freak out when it comes to actually getting on one.’ She let out a small laugh. 'Usually I just take a sleeping pill and sleep most the way but I forgot them at home so instead I went for the drunk route.’

“Hmm I guess now isn’t the right time to bring up a bunch of airplane conspiracy theories I read about,” she joked. “I think it helps if you close the little window and put some headphones in. My brother used to get really anxious on planes,” she said with a smile. “Sleeping is a lot less risky that getting drunk. I’ve seen a bunch of people get kicked off of flights for being too loud for having too much to drink.”

Mhm, you might actually have me thinking about possibly ruining a couple of girl’s hearts tonight because I might actually be tempted for that.” she lets out a chuckle. “I’m not afraid, I just don’t like it. “ she shrugged. “Well I really hope you find that special someone to do all that with really. As for me? I plan on focusing on myself and having fun; not wasting any second trying to do anything but have tons of fun.”  she raised her eyebrow, curiously. “Does it ever really work though? I’m sure it may for the moment but overall I feel like it would just kill you.”

“Mmhm, I mean I think you’re attractive and if you think I’m attractive and neither of us can find someone to bring home at the end of the night then why the hell not?” she said with a shrug. “It’s not for everyone I suppose. Everyone has a different idea of their future and I hope you have as much fun as possible,” She shrugged, “It works for the most part. I mean after a while it gets a little more difficult to push to the side but there’s not much I can do.”

“Oh...I’m sorry for bringing that up. I’m glad you’re taking life by the balls though, good for you,” she said with a smile. “Not what?” she questioned unsure of what the younger woman meant.

So, breaking news — apparently it’s frowned upon to get absolutely shitfaced in the middle of an intercontinental flight. Who would’ve thought? Definitely not me, that’s for sure. I can’t help it that I’m a nervous flyer, but I may or may not have made some enemies on Flight 307 with my lovely impromptu concert. Personally, I think it went off without a hitch. Those passengers got themselves a real treat — even threw things at me in adoration.

“I mean have you never seen Bridesmaids?” she questioned with a laugh. “Drunk flights never work out well. Was it your first flight or are you just afraid to be that high off the ground?” she asked the other brunette. Valentina was used to flying, she actually found it soothing so it was hard to imagine disliking being in the air.

 ‘i didn’t have much else to do, so i thought why not. ’ she beamed. ‘ how long have you been here? ’ she questioned, the tiny blonde stood on her tip toes, pleased to have already met someone so friendly who didn’t make her feel as petrified as she had felt the entire trip here.

“I don’t mean to pry but what did your parents say?” she asked. Maybe things were different in Pixie’s family but Valentina had to pull teeth to get her parents to even accept her decision to become an athlete and not a doctor. “I’ve been here for a few weeks, still getting the hang of the place and the waves,” she said referring to the ocean.

‘ and you valentina. ’ she offered a huge dimpled smile. ‘ well i actually just graduated high school and was kind of stuck what to do - this place seemed like a vacay and a cool place to meet people so i thought i’d give it a go and post pone college for a while. ’ she chattered. ‘ what about you?? ’

The brunette brought a hand to her lips, trying to hold back her shock. “Ay dios mío,” she muttered in Spanish. “You’re a baby and you’re out here. Good for you,” she said with a nod. Part of her wished she was as adventurous as she was now back when she was that age. However, things come with time and she had been under the pressure of her mothers.

she smiled when she received a warm response and scolded herself for being so nervous in the first place. she allowed an impish giggle to fall from her lips when she spoke and shook her head. ‘ oh gosh no, you don’t have to do that - i just spur of the moment thought i’d try and meet people. ’ she said. ‘ i love the name valentina!! i’m pixie. ’

“Such a brave little soul then,” she teased with a chuckle, not being able to hold back her smile. The other woman was adorable. “Well it’s a pleasure to meet you Pixie. What brings you to the island? Other than the beautiful people and the nice warm weather.”

pixie noticed quite a cluster of women outside of the hotel, she took out her hand bag mirror, checking her bangs before giving herself a quick pep talk before moving towards one and deciding to introduce herself. ‘ hi – ’ she squeaked. 

“Hi yourself,” the brunette replied with a smirk. “Well aren’t you the cutest little thing. Do you need some help with yours bags?” she asked, looking the other up and down. “Valentina. What’s your name sweet cheeks?”

“It’s not a band, no. It’s only the best modern musical to grace anyone’s existence.” A shrug. “Get this, it’s a rap musical about Alexander Hamilton’s life. Quite honestly, it’s transcendent. If you’ve ever got two and a half hours to listen all the way through something, I’d highly recommend it.”

“Oh! Oh okay I mean I don’t usually listen to musicals but my moms always liked them. They like playing them during surgery, keeps them focused.” Valentina raised an eyebrow, “I spend a little more time at the gym so I’ll definitely check it out. Although I’m curious as to how they made Alexander Hamilton’s life into a musical.”

“Chances of the both of us not getting lucky is pretty slim, but in the rare chance that we don’t I would be more than happy to allow you to do so.” she found her self smirking at their words, mentally making a note of this plan in her head. “Like I said, I prefer fast. Slow leads to bonding and I’m not a fan of that nor is it really a fan of me so fast is a whole lot easier for me.” she never really was one to talk, unless it was flirting, no one she really slept with got to know her not because it was simply better than was but because she prefered it that way. Maddie’s eyes widened at her words. “Are you telling me you haven’t had sex in a year? Merde qui suce vraiment! I never thought I would have to say this but, I think we may need to work on you first before me. We really need to get you laid.”

“Perfect. It’s a deal then. If neither one of us gets lucky tonight we’ll just have to have our own kind of fun,” she said with a smile. “What? Are you afraid of commitment or something?” she teased. “I’d like to find someone to settle down with eventually. It’d be nice to get married, raise a family. It’s a sweet thought and although I didn’t care for it much growing up, I now realize it is something I’d like to see in my future eventually.” She laughed at the girls comment, “It’s fine, I take out all the sexual frustration by working out.”

“Does it make me emotionally unstable if a single sip of coffee literally changes my outlook for the day?” she asked the person next to her, taking another sip of the coffee in question.  “Like I swear, everything was going wrong this morning but now everything’s peachy.  I’m thinking either 1: The Coffee Pot sells magical mood altering coffee, and this island is a giant experiment to see how our bodies react, or B: My glass half full mood can only be activated once I’ve had caffeine.  Thoughts?”

“Not at all. I can’t function without my morning shake i’d probably be walking around like a zombie,” Valentina said with a chuckle. “It might be the caffeine too. I hear it’s just as bad as cocaine. Okay maybe not as bad but you know what I mean,” she corrected quickly with a smile.  “Too much coffee though can be just as bad as having some of those energy drinks though so I’d be careful.”
