aaand the Bogden matrons!

Andesine (p. Duskfur) the newest member of the matrons and young even now, much less when she joined as a fresh hunter following the death of her mother during the last plague that ravaged her pride.

Larimar (p. Brightcloud) rivals Amaranth for older cat in the valley, but falls just short. She's notoriously bad tempered, and even as a matron tends not to engage, but she's a completely different cat around her mate, Sunstone.

Jasper (p. Raggedstar) is the Speaker of Bogden, and has been since the plague that killed the previously matron. She's not only popular with her own pride, but with the other prides in the valley as well.

Ruby (p. Lightcloud) was disabled by the plague, ending her days as a hunter but bringing her into the life of first a crafter, and then, when her joints began to fail her, the Teller of the clan.

Granite (p. Lizardstripe) is even more bad tempered than Larimar, or at least much louder about it. She's bitter and seemingly uncaring towards even her own family, Ruby and her children included.

Coldbank Matrons!

Herring (p. Echomist) is the Speaker, though she doesn't really want to be. The pride recently saw the death of Blackfin, the previous Speaker, and Herring took over reluctantly despite being ready to retire herself. Without any daughters to her name, though, two young mollies are going head to head over the position.

Gar (p. Swallowtail) wasn't really keen on being a Matron, wanting to dedicate herself to her mate and eventually have kits, but she didn't want to force her parent, Newt (p. Birdsong) into the position either.

Moray (p. Swanflower) is both the Matriarch of the pride as well as Matron, and she handles both positions with calm grace. Her daughter, Gar's mate, is set to take over for her, but not for many months yet.

Loach (p. Skyheart) is the daughter of Blackfin, and naturally took over her position of Matron after her death. Loach is in mourning at the moment, and tends to balk from her responsibilities--but the pride hopes she'll be back to her old self in due time.

Shell (p. Fallowtail) is proud to be a Matron, especially considering her past mistakes with a tom from another pride. She's worked hard to rekindle the pride's faith in her and pave the way for her daughter's family.
