If only I were to have some frame of reference, I might properly verify this claim. Alas, I have not had the “good fortune” to be acquainted with Vorador’s contact in the flesh as of yet.

Vampiric evolution does wonders for one’s physique, but I have always been physically gifted to a degree. I trained in swordsmanship and kept active often as a youth, and continued these regimes in unlife.

--You would be better served to focus on control and form, not speed and quantity, when lifting, incidentally.

That is one such method to grant someone the gift. To my knowledge it is not possible without some access to either said vital essence, or some manner of vampiric artefact. The state of the receiver can vary.

Are these “Cainites” a specific clan, or is this what those of your “Tellurian” refer to all vampirekind by?

--An interesting enough tale. I can see some commonalities in origin, perhaps in a sense with both strains you have mentioned, but they are few and far between. There is no real rhyme to it.

Most familiarities are within the nature of the gift, though I could hardly say for certain whether the blood truly thins in later generations.

I have precious little reference, you see.

A great deal of effort has been made by certain parties towards wiping vampirekind from the present and from history in the realm from which I hail. Unfortunate, when we are meant to be the defenders of said realm.

There are far greater horrors than those who walk the night.

Ah, my apologies if I have over-pried. I have a bad habit of taking advantage of my ignorance of sensitive issues to enquire deeply of those fundamentals of mystical development that might speak to greater universal truths.

I do find it interesting you’re familiar with the ‘sparkling vampire’ stigma - are rumours of the issue so widespread? Speaking as one who occasionally sparkles himself, it can be embarrassing, I’ll not deny.

I will confess to some amount of curiosity of the effects of the ritual that made you: can you produce progeny in the manner common to your kind? Were any samples of an existing vampire used in the process? And given your prior response to the discussion of the Tremere, can I infer that this was done to you rather than by you?

Feel free to deny me the answer if I over-pry once more.

That’s the kind of habit that will get you killed, you know.

It is not so much that the tales of vampires sparkling are widespread, moreso that, upon finding this platform, I was greeted with such tales. Apparently they are tied to popular fiction in other realms.

You would perhaps have to define what is considered a “common” way for a vampire to produce progeny for me to offer any substantial answer. Far be it from me to make assumptions on what is common.

What I can offer, is that the manner in which I was afforded the dark gift was a contract. Of the variety where the fine print, and, in fact, half of the body, is written in invisible ink.
