   her  reaction is  certainly  unexpected  ,   most  people  didn’t  react  with  as  much  negativity  and  disrespect  as  she  —-   hand  finds  it’s  place  on  the  hilt  of  his  sword   —-   he  dare  not  unsheath  it  now  ,   though  ,   lest  he  scare  her  more  than  he  already  had  .   “   it  was  the  title  that  was  given  to  me  .   ”   peter’s  posture  straightens  ,   taking  a  step  back  .   “   so  ,   if  you  have  any  problems  with  it  ,   i  would  talk  to  aslan  .   ”   name  runs  a  shiver  through  his  body  ,   and  the  image  of  his  mentor  and  friend  flashes  in  his  head  .

                                       she is starting to panic.

there is pain thumping in her back and at the back of her head , the environment feels unsafe  —  antagonistic even and she is seemingly far , very far from home.  as burning tears begin to rise , unwelcome , she swallows them back and musters all the strength her body possesses to jump down the table.

shock rattles her form as she lands ,  a grimace exposing the pain she feels.  through still gritted teeth ,  she speaks again as she lowers her dagger to rest more casually at her side.
